Prologue

My phone rang beside me and I picked it up to see who is calling me.

I looked and it said it was my best friend, Caitlyn.

I answered the phone quickly and put it up to my ear.

"What's up Caitlyn?" I said.

"Nothing much Mia. I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall with me." She said.

"I would love to." I said.

"Great. I'll pick you up in about 10 minutes." She said.

"Ok, see you then." I said hanging up.

She only lives right down the street from the foster care place I live at.

I put my phone down and walked over to my very small closet and picked out a pair of bear paw boots.

I would love to have Uggs, but I can't afford them.

How much money can you possibly get from working at a bowling alley?

Not much.

I slipped them on and went back over to my bed that I was just currently sitting on.

My phone buzzed and it said that Jenna Marbles just posted a new video on YouTube.

I have a YouTube account but I've never put anything on it.

Caitlyn tells me all the time that I should post a video of me singing because she says I'm really good.

The only thing is, she's never even heard me.

No one has.

I've always been afraid of being judged and being told that I was horrible.

Singing has always been a passion of mine and I've always thought of perusing it.

I never thought I was good enough though.

I left the thoughts and walked to the door of my room.

I left and then walked down the stairs to the front lobby.

"Where are you going Mia?" Alyssa asked.

Alyssa is one of my best friends here.

She too lives here although she is 1 year younger than me.

"Just out with Caitlyn for a little bit." I said. "Do you want to come with us?"

I knew that Caitlyn wouldn't mind because she loves Alyssa to pieces and we have a blast when we go out together.

"I would love to but I can't. I have a huge history project to do and being me, I wait till the last minute to get it done." Alyssa said.

"Oh alright. If you need help with it when I come back, don't hesitate to ask me." I said.

"I will. Thank you. Go have fun and tell Caitlyn I said hi." She said.

"Absolutely. See you when I get back." I said.

She nodded and waved as I waved back and walked out the front doors.

I already did all my homework in study hall today so I can be out as late as I want.

Well, before curfew obviously.

My curfew is 10:00 and personally, I think that's pretty fair.

There are many other teenagers who's curfews are like 8:00.

Those are the kind of teenagers that have over protective parents.

But at least they have parents.

I looked out and I saw a small blue Mini Cooper pull up.

I knew it was Caitlyn because that's her car.

I walked over and got in the front seat.

"Hey!" She said.

"Hey! I'm so excited!" I said.

Caitlyn pulled out of the parking lot and got onto the street.

She started driving towards the mall.

"Me too! Where's Alyssa?" She asked.

"Oh being her, she left her whole history project to do today when it's due tomorrow. So she can't come." I said.

Caitlyn chuckled a little bit.

"Of course she would." She laughed.

My phone buzzed again and I picked it up.

It was from twitter telling me that Liam Payne tweeted.

I squealed a bit and unlocked my phone at the speed of lightning.

"Liam tweeted!" I said.

Caitlyn doesn't particularly like One Direction but they are my life.

She doesn't mind when I talk about them though so I'm grateful for that.

"What did he say?" She asked.

"He says, 'Hiiiiii everyoneeeee!'" I said.

"That boy is something special, you know that?" She said.

"Of course I do. He's amazing." I said.

I love all the boys in One Direction but Liam is most definitely my favorite.

Just his story about from the day he was born up to now, just made me fall in love with him.

I retweeted his tweet and tweeted him saying, "Liam I love you so much. There's lots of other girls asking you, but will you follow me and make me the happiest girl alive?"

It's a little cliché but I do love him and it would make me the happiest girl alive.

"Has he followed you yet?" She asked.

"No. He doesn't know I exist." I sighed.

"Don't worry about it. He will notice you someday." She said.

"Yeah. I wish."

So here is the start to The Life Changing Tweet. I hope you guys are enjoying it so far. I was originally going to start it after I finished my other story, The Perfect Life...Or So I Thought, but I was encouraged by my friend to start it now so I will be trying my best to update both.
