After hours of tossing and turning, I fell asleep at 6:00, just before sunrise. My thoughts had kept me awake, as usual, and I planned on sleeping most of the day to escape them. But that plan was destroyed when a loud knocking sounded from the front of my apartment. Groaning, I turned over in an attempt to block out the annoying sound, but it proved to be persistent and I knew that my hopes of falling back asleep were gone, so I wiped the drool from my chin and stood up. I took my time walking to the door, my joints popping, stiff from my old matress.

"Good morning, Carmen." Harry beamed down at me when I opened the door. My body became alert as I realized that I stood before him clad in only a thin T-Shirt and a pair of underwear, with my hair a mess all around my head.

"Morning." I nodded, shuffling behind the door.

"You don't have to hide, you know. I've seen you in much less." he murmured. I had grown to not be so shy about my body, but Harrys wandering eyes made me feel the need to cover up. "I assume you need some time to get ready?"

"About lunch..." I was about to come up with an excuse before he stopped me.

"I'm taking you out to lunch, even if that means I have to drag you; now get ready." his voice was firm. I pursed my lips, debating in my head wether or not to argue with him. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't slightly afraid of him, even more now after I had gotten a glimpse of his easy temper. I wasn't so afraid that I'd let him force me into having lunch with him, he was still a complete stranger, but there were questions that I needed answered and lunch would be a great opportunity to force ask. Sighing, I made my decision.

"I'll be right back." He smiled brightly at me, but I just shut the door and rushed back to my bathroom to brush my teeth. I decided on wearing my favorite white blouse along with a pair of black jeans and brown sandals. It was a nice outfit, I thought, and I ran a brush through my hair to tame it. I decided to leave it in its natural waves, since I did have someone waiting on me and I didn't have a hair tie that I could see. Before I joined Harry outside, I took a quick look at myself in the mirror. Taking a deep breath, I prepared myself; I was about to go have lunch with a man who was sort of stalking me. Still slightly panicked, I stepped outside.

"Ready?" Harry asked, looking me up and down. I nodded, ignorning him when he offered me his arm. Instead I began to walk. "I have a question."

"Go ahead." I spoke, finally looking at him in the face. His expression was playful as he licked his lips before speaking.

"Would you be offended if I bought you new clothes?" he laughed at my expresion.

"Whats wrong with my clothes?" I frowned.

"They're a bit too plain. And loose." He told me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder. This was a bad idea, I thought and shook his arm off.

"I think they're fine." I huffed. Harry just laughed again as he led me to his car, which happened to be a black range rover. I wasn't suprised really, I had expected Harry was wealthy, but it looked so strange in the grimy parking lot of my complex.

"Get in." He called from the drivers seat. I hadn't even noticed I had just been standing there, staring. Ignoring the heat in my cheeks, I climbed into the passengers seat, buckling myself in and crossing my legs. Neither of us said anything as he reversed and pulled out onto the main road. The car ride there was silent until I asked where we were going.

"It's a small cafe, not many people know of it." he informed me, drumming his fingers against the steering wheel. "Do you wanna listen to the radio?"

"I don't like radio music that much." The car returned to silence and I focused my gaze outside the window until the car stopped.

"Here we are." Harry smiled at me before hopping out. I did the same and joined him at the front of the car. "I think you'll like the food." We walked through the doors and I briefly observed the room. It was small and painted a light brown; it gave off a very homey feeling, with murky paintings covering the walls. Harry requested we be seated at the corner table by the window and the hostess happily obliged. She grabbed two menus and led us to out seats, taking our drink orders.
