Emily's POV

It was a couple days after the incident. It was all so confusing to me, in until this day. "Emily! Come on, we're going to the doctors office." Garroth called. I stood up from my bed and hopped downstairs. "Ready!" I said. We all ran to the car. It was a Thursday after school. "Hello doctor. We are here for my daughters appointment." My mom said joyfully. Vylad, Zane, Garroth, and I all sat in the chairs. We waited for about half an hour. Then suddenly "Uh...Emily! Please come with me to see the doctor. Bring your family too." She said quickly. I motioned for my family to come. They did a check up and x-rayed me. 'Hmm, this is unusual. They don't do x-rays when they're doing check ups.' I thought. "Please lay down dear." She said in a sweet voice. They asked some normal questions until...it happened. "Are you aware of your ancestors?" She asked intently looking at me. "Um...no. Why?" I asked confused. "It seems the source of your sudden headache is this bright power growing in you." She said surprised. I turned to my family. "Mom?!" I said panicking. "Uh..." She sighed. "I'll tell you later." She said nervously. "Emily?" My brothers said. I opened my mouth to speak, but nothing came out. I got out my phone and group texted Aphmau, Laurence, and Kawaii~Chan. 'Guys, meet me at my house in 20 min. It's urgent.' Then put my phone away. We thanked the doctor and left. "So...who were you texting?" Vylad asked. "Just some friends." I replied. Garroth glared at me and Zane just groaned. I rolled my eyes at them. "It's just a group text. Why are you guys getting so irked about it?!" I said angrily. "Who's in the text?" Garroth asked. "Aphmau, Kawaii~Chan, and...T-Travis!" I said covering my face. "Emily! Don't lie to me. I can tell you're lying!" He said clutching his fists. "Geez! Calm down hot-head! It's just Laurence. Gosh..." I said as we're approaching the car. Garroth growled. When we reached the house I ran in my room. "If I have powers then can I-somebody is knocking on the door. "I'll get it!" I called. I ran down and opened the door. It was Aphmau, Laurence, and Kawaii~Chan. "Hey Emily." Laurence said with a smile. I pulled them all in the house. "Woah, Emily! Calm down. Are you okay?" Aphmau asked. "Follow me." I whispered to them. Soon we were all in my room. "Guys, what you're about to hear might sound crazy. But I promise you, it's the truth." I explained. "It's fine Emily~Sama. Kawaii~Chan will believe anything!" She said sweetly. Aphmau and Laurence said the same. I took a deep breath. "Guys, I have powers. It's not fully grown, but I have powers. Uh...do you remember the day I had that headache?" I asked/explained. "Um...yeah. What about it?" Aphmau asked worriedly. "I had the sudden headache because of my powers!" I explained. "I'm sorry Emily~Sama, but this is too good to be true." Kawaii~Chan said in sorrow. "Seriously?" I said getting defensive. "Yeah we're sorry." Aph and Laurence said nervously. I felt angry. My friends don't believe me. Not anything that I said. I felt like shooting something. I screamed. Then all of a sudden a bright yellow light shot from my hands and melted the trash can. I fell to the floor exhausted. "Emily?! You weren't kidding were you?" They said in shock. "Y-yeah..." I said losing my energy. Laurence carried me to my cerulean coloured bed. Garroth, Zane, and Vylad burst through the door. "Emily! Are you okay? We heard some kind of explosion from our room." Garroth asked worriedly. Then he saw Laurence next to the bed. "What are you doing? Oh, hey Aphmau. Kawaii~Chan." He greeted. "She fell to the floor, so I carried her to the bed." He said nervously. He growled. "G-Garroth, Zane, Vylad. I-I need to t-tell you s-something." I said slowly drifting to sleep. "You k-know my powers? I used i-it to melt the t-trash can." I said opening and closing my eyes. They all ran up to me. "Emily, you should go get rest. We'll tell mom about this, okay?" Vylad said putting his hand on my shoulder. I nodded my head and went unconscious. I have powers. I'll have to learn to control them sooner or later.
