The king of the lands stepped up with his ghastly glare. I knew he hated Gin since he had disobeyed his orders. He walked us up to a big cliff at the top of a bloody red sea. At the bottom you could see a beast tied to chains. The beast of Zena, glared at us with gleaming red eyes filled with hatred and bloodshed. My watch had stricken it's last minute and disappeared in my hands. So I guess this is it! I thought to myself, this is the end of Ember rose. Two men in cloaks walked toward me. I gave one last hug to Gin as he kissed my forehead. But wait... he was smiling! "wha-" I was cut off as the two men dragged me towards the cliff, but right when I was at the tip Gin pulled out his sword. What the hell is he going to do!? I thought. Gin started running towards me then suddenly he thrust his sword against the kings heart! The king was stunned, he stuttered as blood spilled across the floor! I was shocked! Gin quickly pushed the king down the cliff, and into the mouth of the beast of Zena. "Fool! One to hurt the ruler dies themselves!" Yelled the king. "I know" smiled Gin sticking his tongue out. I collapsed, I was safe! The sacrifice was made! Wait what about Gin!? He rushed towards me and gave me a kiss, lifted his head and said with a smile "live for me, would ya?" But I saw those tears streaming down his face as he said good-bye!
