Chapter 1

"Oh?"

"Miles? You think you could make this dress a size smaller?" I asked modeling it in the floor mirror.

"That would be fine but it's a bit risky beings tho you have no back ups and the red carpet is in minutes" miles spoke. I walked around wondering and collecting my thoughts.

"Just do it. I trust you." He looked me on the eye with an unsure look, i chuckled. "Let's go the carpet is going to start."

Sean'

"Yo Khaled, what's good bro?" I shook hands with khaled as we stopped for pics. Flashing lights everywhere and our names being called by paparazzi.

"I hear you're performing with Jhene, that should be interesting" he said giving me a certain look. I laughed.

"What?" I asked laughing. "Nothing man i'm just saying, tear that stage down. Ima put you on my snapchat" he laughed and walked off.

Me and my boys were making our way backstage to get ready for the performance. "Melissa i told you i wanted no jacket with this outfit" i walked off. Looking in the mirror at my outfit i started rapping my verse.

"I know you've been tryna get alone.... What's up? It's on."

*knock knock* "aye sean, it's time" a director yelled through the door. I took one last look and walked out. Walking to the stage I felt hands cover my eyes. "Aye man come on" i said playfully.

"Guess" i heard the "voice" say. "That cute voice" i said as she let me go, she smiled at me. "You ready to kill it?" I asked. "Yeah this is our first performance."

"You seem nervous" i rubbed her shoulders, she leaned her head back and waited for the Que. "eh i can handle just about anything" she winked and walked to the stage as "i know" started playing.

"I know you've been going through some things...... I know you don't even love the same" we walked and just vibed across the stage. The crowd on their feet, she harmonized my bars as i rapped.

Jhene'

"I know you've been going through some things wanna get away. Baby let me be yo vacation" the butterflies in my stomach had went away at this point. The back up dancers brought out chairs. Sean sat down and i worked my way towards him.

"Take a load of on my private island come inside and go into hiding..." I ran my hand down his chest as i stood behind his chair. The crowd was screaming as i walked in front and sat on his lap.

"I know" and then i placed my lips on his and kissed him..... Using tongue. The crowd screamed and the lights went dim.

Sean'

"Wait hold on" i jogged after jhene she slowed down with a smirk on her face. "Yes?" She asked in a very seducing voice. "Shit you just.... I mean.... What...... So?" She laughed at me being speechless.

"Look, i was just performing in fact the show was great. Good night sean" i watched her walk off. "Wow" i said to myself, chuckling.

"Yo sean that was a interesting performance." Khaled said laughing. "Major key alret, i caught that on the snap."

"Send it to me." I said laughing.

I chuckled as i watched the rerun of the show on BET. That kiss sent butterfly's through my stomach. I think i kind of made it awkward between us because we have to tour in three days. My phone lit up and it was a text from my best friend chanel.

"Girl i can't even deal that was amazing!!!!! I'll be at your door in the am."

I chuckled and locked my phone. She was flying in from new orleans where she was spending time with her family.

Two days later
Sean

"Look make sure they pack my microphone." I said speaking with one of the creative directors.

"Sean, that's not my job."

"Look man i don't care." I walked off to go sit in a spinning chair. Rehearsals was really annoying me today because i was tired.

Jhene and a few other dancers glided across the floor dancing to the music. I sat up and watched, her eyes met mines for a few seconds and then she went back to dancing.

Jhene

"Ok guys two hour break and then we're right back to it." Everybody clapped and parted ways. I went to get some water and i felt sean staring.

"You should be out here getting these dance moves down pack too sir." I laughed.

"Nah i leave that to you." He smirked. "Don't cut me off when i say this but that kiss, was more than a performance." I laughed.

"You know what i mean, i felt that." He said standing up to leave.

"What you feel?" I asked and he turned around.
