Natsu's POV
I watched as my best friend,Akemi, was killed.
"NOOOO! AKEMI!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.
We had been together since I joined the guild. And this was our first mission, it was a simple one of getting rid of a monster. But when it went to get me Akemi jumped in and it got her instead.
I ran over to her body, Her body was going limp and she looked at me with dull eyes. They weren't her usual shining purple they were dull and almost lifeless.
"N-Natsu" Her voice was quiet and raspy.
"Y-Yeah Aki" I called her by that stupid nickname that I made up when we were younger.
"Promise M-Me that you W-Will Live on" My eyes widened at the words she just uttered.
"NO YOU WILL BE FINE" I picked her up and hugged her. But I felt her life fading.
"N-Natsu Goodbye" She closed her eyes and smiled,then my biggest fear arrived . She died.
"NOOOO!!" I screamed and attacked the monster that had taken her life.
"ROARR" The monster roared and my body covered in flames.
"FIRE DRAGONS IRON FIST!" I hit the monster and it disappeared. But when I looked back where I left Akemi's body it was gone. Maybe it was taken by an Angel. After all she was one to me.
