The story is a memory bound high school life recall, where our main characters remember how a promise before, created and alternated the path of their future.
Its the story of Xibalbas love story, where he recalled a distant memory with La Muerte, they created their story in highschool and ultimately made even more memories as time goes by, they would always talk and talk and talk, they would see each other everyday, La Muerte would tell Xibalba long stories that Xibalba loved to hear, but could it be love they felt? Or just a shock that slapped Xibalba in the face.
Could it be love they can gain, or would La Muerte send Xibalba the final kiss.
(Ps: if the characters are familiar to you then congrats you are now a better person than you were before, you now remembered something from a distant past, and thats a good thing because, people may come and go but memories last forever)
