Ryden West.
Where would I even begin to describe Ryden West?
How would I even begin to describe Ryden West?
Ryden West is the epitome of a bad boy. That's what he is.
He breaks rules, he gets into fights, he skips school, he smokes, the principal's office is probably his second home, and he's a mystery; no one really knows much about him.
The basic cliché we all know a bad boy would possess? That's all him.
But on top of that, he's still the most popular guy in school. It was probably because of his amazing soccer skills, his ability to stay a top student even when he has a few mischiefness there and then known as skipping school, and the fact that he's sexy as sin.
I can't really say that he's also adored by many because of his personality because as I stated earlier, no one knows much about him. Sure, he talks to everyone and there's the soccer guys who he eats and hangs out with every lunch, but he never really talked about himself. In a narcisstic way, sure. But in a personal level? Never. It may look like they're all best friends and that but if you ask the guys, they would say that they hang out with him but they don't really know anything about him, they would add.
But the mystery is sexy, that's what many people say about him.
And the girls, oh the girls. I described the guy as sexy as 'sin', so who would really be surprised if he's got a ton of girls circling around him? But the thing is, he rarely flirts back with them. And the girls he flirted with didn't really stand a chance with him. No one really comes far with him when it comes to 'flings' or 'hook ups' or even just a little bit of his time. Much less a relationship. He flirts but doesn't make anyone his girlfriend. You'd be even considered lucky if he exchanged a few flirty remarks with you or you got to hang out with him alone or got a date with him.
In his whole high school life, according to rumors, he's only dated about 2 girls.
One was Meg Peyton, they dated back in 7th grade because of a dare. 7th grade was before he got all bad boy and stuff, by the way.
And the other one was Lis Campbell, the student body council president. They dated in 9th grade but she got dumped -again, according to rumors- by Ryden because she wasn't exactly what he thought she is. And what he thought, we do not know and we will most likely, never find out.
But why am I actually thinking about Ryden West?
It's probably because he's directly in front of my view. Well, not in front but if I twist my head a little he's in the middle of my vision.
And probably because he intrigues me.
And probably the whole student body, too.
And the fact that today's history topic is boring as hell could be also written down on Rydell Taylor's list of many excuses on why she is staring at Ryden West.
But mainly because he intrigues me; I was a sucker for mysteries. I love unraveling them. And boy was Ryden West a big fat walking wooden sign that says: "I am a mystery, Rydell! Come unravel me!".
'Observations About Ryden West' I thought to myself. I could start a book and list down all the things I find intriguing about him. I mentally snorted at my idea. That's ridiculous.
Shaking my head and breaking my thoughts, I looked back in front of me and to Mr. Salander, who was still spitting out informations that would probably be a great addition to "Facts you may need to know to be a normal human being in society but probably won't be of use unless it's a school test/quiz or you joined a trivia game show".
