Friends

"MIO!!!" A voice screamed from the door.

I turned to see Hikari flying towards me with a fairly mad face. (Hikari - light) She was my Exeed. She was small. Mainly black with dark blue paws and purple fur stomach. Her black fur had small dots of white and yellow, making it look like stars.

"MIO! How dare you leave me to wonder around to look for some stones! And alone may I add! While you go running off on your own to the point where I am flying around this damn city non stop for the entire day!" She ranted. "You said you would wait by the big tree! WHY IN THE STARS NAMES ARE YOU IN A GUILD HALL!!! Don't tell me you..."

"No no. Nothing like that Hikari!" I panicked. "You know that friend I was always on about?"

"The one you met when you were a child and had pink hair?"

"Yeah! He's alive and a part of his guild! He also has and Exceed! He's blue and called Happy! So you can have friends too!" I smiled. "This girl is Wendy. She's a Sky Dragon Slayer and has an Exceed called Carla!"

"I heard someone say my name?" Carla floated in. "Oh. And whose this?"

"Hello. You must be Carla, Wendy's exceed. My name's Hikari."

"And I take it you're Mio's Exceed. Nice to finally meet another female exceed, I must say."

"I'm glad I actually get to meet another exceed at all."

They both laughed and flew away to have a chat.

Hikari's POV

I flew off to a table with Carla. I was relived that I could meet another exceed.

"So, how long have you been with Mio for?" She asked me.

"Oh? Hmmm. I would say at least 6 years. It was about a year after all the dragons disappeared. In Mio's time anyways." I told her.

"Ah I see. Same with me and Wendy. She found my egg in the forest. Back when we were in another guild called Cait Shelter. Although it wasn't really even real." She explained. "Where did Mio find you?"

"In some ruins of a town. She said there was some sorta fight there, but the next thing she knew it was all over. She said something about getting shot and being forced into another dimensional space. Then 7 years later she was let back out. Then she entered the ruins of the town and found my egg in a patch of ivy."

"Hmm. Interesting."

We talked more until Mio called me over, and said it was time to go. I waved goodbye to Carla and Wendy before following Mio out the door.

"So, how was your conversation?" She asked me.

"I found out that Carla was a part of a Guild called Cait Shelter with Wendy. But-"

"It didn't actually exist. Wendy told me that too."

"Hehe. She also told me about what happened in Edolas."

"Same. Good thing we never wound up there, or we'd never be able to get back." We laughed.

We ended up walking to the big tree and sat down.

"So, you got the things I asked for?"

"Mhm. It took a while, but I managed to grab some. I found them at a market stool in the next town over." I told her, passing her the small pouch. "They through the it was just some pretty rocks so it was cheap."

"Yes! Thanks Hikari!" She cheered, looking inside.

It was 3 more of those Dimension Lacrema that she needed.

"I needed more. I used up one the other day when I was helping another friend."

"You used one up due to idiotic reasons again. Didn't you?" I glared.

"It was not stupid! I was helping Lucy win a talent contest, in which the winner got 1,000,000 jewls!"

"See it was stupid." I stated. "It was a talent contest. Not a death match."

"Then I used another one because the guild got attacked."

"What? By whom?"

"A dragon..." She sighed.

"A-a dragon? What?" I stuttered. "Was it...?"

She nodded. The place fell quiet as the darkness slowly took over the sky.

"Well we should probably find somewhere to sleep for tonight. We can't just sleep outside. We could get ill."

Just then, the girl with white hair from the hall walked up to us.

"Hey Mio." She smiled. "Hello Hikari."

"Hey, Mira." Mio greeted.

"What are you two doing outside in the cold so late?"

"We haven't a place to sleep. Nor the money to afford a hotel at the moment." I told her.

"Well in that case why don't you come crash at my place." She suggested.

"I don't know...We don't want to intru-"

"Yes! Thank you Mira!" Mio interrupted.

And of course she just accepts any and all invitations. Having no concern for the other.

We joined Mira on her walk home. Turns out there was a building called 'Fairy Hills' where most the female Guild members lived. All except Lucy, as she apparently couldn't afford it.

We walked through the halls of the building and eventually came to Mira's room. We stepped in and took in the site. For what you would expect to be a small room it was beautiful.

"Wow Mira! This place is amazing!" Mio awed.

"Aw. Thanks." She gushed. "I try to make it as homely as possible."

We walked around looking properly. Taking everything in. The main colours in the room consisted of reds, yellows, greens and blues. It was bright and colourful. There was a simple blue sofa with a gold coloured lining, with a matching chair. A green rug with red details. The walls were plain white as to make the room seem more spacier. Then on the back wall was her bed. It was pink with blue details.

"I hope you don't mind sleeping on the sofa." She questioned.

"Not at all! Better than the cold ground." Mio smiled. "Thanks a lot Mira. I owe ya."

"Please. You don't owe me anything. I like having company."

"Don't you have your sister?"

"She's in another room. She likes her own space. Plus theres not enough room for both of us in here."

"Okay. Well, again thanks."

"Yes. Thank you." I agreed.

"Now let's get some sleep. Tomorrow may be busy."

"Why?"

"Natsu and the others will probably be back tomorrow."

"Cool. But now I'm too excited to sleep." Mio laughed.

"In that case, how about a make over?"

"A make over? I've never had one."

"Then I'm glad I'll be the one doing your first make over. Come on my bed and let's sort this."
