Secondary school life :)

Chapter One (Introduction)

Secondary school life is far from expectations...

Before PSLE everyone started studying real hard and burn mid night oils in order to get a good grade and a good secondary school. Whereas here I am watching Youtube videos and thinking that PSLE is just a piece of cake and don't bother revising at all . I was 'well prepared' when its the day of PSLE and even hangout with my clique of friends at the playground everyday before every paper.Partying all day all night after psle .

Finally its the day we receive our result. I was over confident and even made a pact with my mom that if I were to get 230 for my aggregate she will give me the new Iphone 6.

But my result have wildly disappointed me. When i received my result, I don't dare to open it at all .After gaining my confidence, i decided to open it and started crying because of my horrendous result . I git an aggregate of 224. 6 more marks to get my iphone 6 . Regret is all i could ever think of . thoughts ran through my mind. I started reproaching myself for not studying hard enough. When all my other friends are eligible to go to top schools and my dream schools, all i can ever go was to the neighboring schools . Soon later, its time to choose the secondary schools. The only hope i'm left with now is Evergreen Secondary School-my first choice , which is quite a good school and it have variety of CCAs .

Finally its the day they post the results of the school we are posted to. Me and my clique of friends woke up early and start to wish each other luck as they will announce the results at 9a.m. . Another disappointment again.I was posted to Woodgrove Secondary School. At first I felt really sad and broke into tears again. My mom comforted me through whatsapp. I found alternative method such as transferring school or appealing to other school. After calming myself down and thinking about it again, I've decided to give Woodgrove Sec , also known as WGS a try since my cousin and sister is already in that school.

The choice I made have did not left me with any regrets. Actually I felt thankful that i did not changed school as WGS is really a very good school. The discipline here is real good and strict , the teachers are kind and caring , my classmates are fun and awesome and the seniors are understanding and fun.

I was glad that I was in WGS and happy to have such an amazing clique of friends.
