Chapter 1

*Lucy's Point of View*

"Aquarius, when can I leave the castle to explore?"

"You're too young don't you understand? You can get hurt and I don't want to be responsible."

I just don't get it...I'm almost fourteen and I've never left the castle. Sure it's nice and everything, but it's so lonely in here. The only one to keep me company is Aquarius and I can only summon her with water and she gets mad.

"Can I at least join a guild?"

"Of course not that's even more dangerous those brats will make you risk your life for their reputation"

"Okay when is mom coming home?"

She never answers that question. I want to know where she went. Aquarius is loving...well in her own way, but I want my mom back. I haven't seen her in years. My father is always busy since he's the king of Fiore. It must be stressful.

*Natsu's point of view*

"Igneel, I've mastered most of the fire dragon slayer magic. Am I allowed to leave the dragon realm and join a guild in Earth-land?"

"What are you thinking? The idiotic humans are always needing help and being in a guild will only make you a slave to them."

"Okay...can I visit Earth-land? I'm almost fifteen and I'm always stuck here. I want to meet people that aren't dragon-related."

"Fine. You can leave for only a year to join a guild of your choice. Make your choice and then tell me. On your fifteenth birthday you can leave. You have two months."

*Lucy's point of view*

~One month later~

*Knock*

"Come in"

"Lucy, your father requests your presence in his office immediately"

"He never changes"

I approach his office in a pale pink dress and an updo to meet up to his 'princess' expectations. My small tiara complimenting my gown.

"I was waiting for you, my dear."

"Pardon me, father, I was studying the piano."

"Yes of course well I've heard that you have been wanting to join a guild."

"Yes father I would love to!"

"Then it's settled. You will be leaving in a month."

"Yes father. When will I be requested to return?"

"I will call upon you when the time is right. Now choose a guild by tomorrow. I will await your response."

~The next day~

"I've chosen a guild"

"Fairy Tail"

*Natsu's point of view*

"Igneel! I chose a guild"

"Which one?"
