Emily's POV

It was a few weeks after the incident. From then on I couldn't use my powers very much. "I used that much?" I asked myself examining her hands. I walked down the stairs. I was greeted by the fresh smell of toast and...bacon? My ears perked up. "Mom? Are you cooking bacon?" I asked walking into the kitchen. "Hm? Oh, yes dear. Why?" She replied cracking eggs. "It's just that you haven't been making bacon a lot. You stopped ever since dad started to go on business trips." I said nervously. "Oh, uh...I know." She said sadly. "How about you take a seat before the boys get here. Get some bacon while you can!" She said with a laugh. I stuffed bacon into my mouth and smeared butter against a piece of toast. "Yes! This is sooooo good!" I exclaimed. Then I heard doors opening and closing. I saw Garroth, Zane, and Vylad running down the stairs. "Uh...hi?" I said awkwardly. "How could you eat bacon all by yourself?!" They asked confused. "Mom let me. And plus, you guys never leave extras for me because you're all pigs." I said with a laugh. "Shut up you girl thing!" Zane said in disgust. "Ha! You don't know what a girl is!" I said dying of laughter. Garroth and Vylad soon joined in.

"Alright, alright, you boys sit down and eat before your sister eats your breakfast." She said calming everybody down. When they all sat down and started to eat Vylad said "Sister! I have good news. Since I'm so smart in O'khasis Middle School, my principal said that I can go to your school as a freshmen!" He said in joy. "Really?! Good job Vylad." Garroth and I exclaimed. "Great, now I have to babysit you!" Zane complained. "Don't worry Zane, I won't embarrass you. I'll make my own friends, unlike you." Vylad said laughing. We all laughed, except for Zane of course. "Okay darlings! Eggs are ready." My mom called. She sat down with us and started to eat as well. "Oh and Garorth, when your done can you wash the dishes?" Zianna asked. "Yeah, sure." He replied. "Mom? You said that your were going to say the truth. What was the 'truth'?" I asked curiously. My mom stopped eating and stuttered "U-uh can w-we talk a-a-about this l-later?" She said shaking and nervous.

"Yeah, sure. If your ready." I said. She took a deep breath and sighed. "Thank you. I just need time to reveal to you the truth and how I'm going to put it." She explained. I nodded my head and went upstairs. I took out my phone and texted Laurence. (E-Emily/(L-Laurence

E-Hey Laurence! Do you want to come over and hang out?

L-Sure Emily. I have nothing to do today so...

I blushed. 'Why did he put that emoji?' I thought. I decided to clean up my room. "Room, check. Clothes, check. Hair, esh!" I said to myself. I rushed to the bathroom and curled my hair and tied it. I checked in the mirror and did a little post. I put on my boots and headed outside. I saw Laurence walking by with a green and black striped hoodie. I got to admit, he looked cute. "Hi Laurence!" Laurence looked at my outfit and blushed. "H-Hi Emily. W-Where do y-you want t-to hang out?" He said with a gulp. I giggled at him and said "To the park!" I said making a Superman pose and running off. I saw Laurence ran after me. "Hurry up!" I called. "I am!" He called back. "What do you mean?" I asked. We arrived at the park. I looked around for Laurence. Until he sneaked up behind me and jumped at me. "Ah!" I screamed. I tripped and Laurence caught me. Our noses were touching. We both blushed at each other. "U-uh thanks for c-catching me." I stuttered. "I-It's no problem." He replied with a smile. He pulled me up and continued walking around the park. Before we knew it we were at a bridge. "Is it okay if a friend comes and hangs out with us?" He asked. "Yeah, sure!" I replied happily. Then Garroth emerged from the steps on the other side of the bridge. "Hey! Laurence informed me that he wanted to go somewhere, but he said that he had to see someone, so I thought that I would bring Aphmau. Lea?! What are you doing here?" He explained/asked. "Oh hey Garroth. I invited Laurence here to hang out." I explained can. "Huh...okay." He said rubbing his chin. Then Aphmau came up from the steps as well.

"Hi Aphmau!" Laurence and I said together. We laughed. "Hi guys! Garroth invited me here to hang out. I didn't know that you guys would be here. Hey, how about we all hang out together?!" She said happily. "We were planning to do that. Do you guys have any ideas where we can hang out?" Garroth asked. "Yeah! There's this bench." She said running off from where she came. We all followed her to this bench. Laurence and I sat down together. Aphmau noticed that were blushing madly. "Laurence and Aphmau sitting in a tree K-I-Shut up." I said covering her mouth. "Why were you singing that?" Garroth asked glaring at Laurence. "Because they were blushing when they were sitting next to each other on the bench. Now that I think about it, in the past few months you guys have blushed a lot when you're together." She says intently thinking about something. "Is this true, Emily?" Garroth asked with suspicion. Oh no, I'm in trouble.
