Aubrey POV
"Mark!!" I heard my mom scream as she walked into my room to see the horrific scene. I was traumatized from the pain I just experienced , I laid in a pile of my own blood as my mother watched my innocence be taken from me. Did I deserve to live ??

4 months earlier
"Ma , I'm home " I yelled as I entered the place I called home. It was a small apartment that consist of 2 bedrooms , 2 baths and a full kitchen .
"Guess she's out again." I mumbled to myself . Every since my mom has met her new boyfriend ,Mark, we have spent no time together.
"Aubrey , you here?" I heard my big brother yell from the living room.
"In my room , Jordan!!" I yelled loud enough for him to hear.
I walked into the living room and saw that he had brought company. He was a nice brown skin , tall , and he looked about my age . I saw him look my way as I stared at his fresh new shoes to his nicely but matted hair.
"Hey , I'm Kasey" he said in his mid- deep voice . Almost falling into his beautiful hazel eyes and his pink lips.
"Aub , did you hear me !!" Jordan said catching me out of my trance .
"Nah what did you say??" I said annoyed at him because of his disruption.
" Are you coming to my house or not ?" He said with a confused look. I figured he knew I was checking out his friend .
"Yea I'm coming lemme get my phone " I said as I walked up the stairs and tripped as I was trying to sashay my thickness in Kasey's face.
Let's hope this night goes well.
