Ironman's POV
I spent the entire night at the hospital. Waiting for some sort of update of Pepper. Damnit Steve! How dare you hurt the only person I love on this damn Earth! Suddenly, the doctor came out "How is she?" I asked immediately "She'll live Mr. Stark, however her left arm had to be amputated. Her legs also took heavy damage as well, I'm not sure if she'll be able to walk again. I'm sorry sir." he explained, and walked off. Pepper may be crippled....because of him! Her arm is gone because of him! "Will she be okay?" I heard from behind, and I turned around to see Thunderbolt "Set up a press conference, now!" I ordered and walked off. This is the finally straw!
The next day, I went to the press conference with one agenda. Ending this Civil War, and that's exactly what in going to do.
"Captain America, you and your Secret Avengers have been a thorn on my side all this time. Believing that you're doing good, when you've hurt many people. Including my fiancee, Pepper Potts. Now, I am through with letting innocent people get hurt because of your beliefs. This ends now. I have my phone on me right now, and I know you know my number boy scout. Five days, a field outside the city, bring your Secret Avengers and I'll bring my New Avenger so we'll finally finish this battle. What's it gonna be Steve?"
Captain America's POV
"He's trying to trick us! It has to be some sort of trap!" Sam exclaimed as we all heard Tony in the press conference. However, something seem off about Tony. He seemed....cold. Like he's out for blood now. "Bruce, give me the phone." I said, and he handed me it. I called him "I hope you know what you're doing Tony, because I'm not holding back anymore." I told him, and he coldly said "Neither am I."
