"So how long have you had your water abilities, Shadow?" A short, female teenager with knee length white hair and pale skin asked a taller female.

The taller girl, Shadow, looked down at the small girl and their eyes met.

"I've had them since the accident."

The white-haired girl looked completely clueless, and her pastel purple eyes closed.

"What accident?"

Shadow's raven colored hair swayed as she turned away from the other girl.

"Why should I tell you, Mireya?"

Mireya sighed and poked Shadow's shoulder.

"You should tell me because I'm your friend, and I'm always here for you if you need to vent."

Shadow sighed, "One day, my parents wanted to get rid of me," She slightly teared up and Mireya hugged her. "So they took me to the beach. I was excited, and thought they would come swimming with me. I believed they loved me. I sure as hell loved them. So they pushed me out farther into the depths of the ocean. Little did I know that they popped my little water floating things. As I was far out in the ocean, I began drowning. I couldn't swim. I fell down into the water and something hit me. I started to rise up, and spheres of water were circling around my feet, hands, and waist."

"Water was rising farther up, as was I. My parents faces were priceless. The water spheres around my hands shot at them, and hit them. I caused a giant wave to roam over the entire surface of the beach, causing them to drown. Luckily, no one else was around, otherwise they would have died too."

Mireya smiled.

"You did a good thing, Shan Shader."

"Stop calling me that, Glower Filler."

Mireya whined, "Buuutt whyyy?"

"Because I said so." Shadow giggled.

--

A young girl, about age 16, came running in through the glass water doors, marked 'Water Palace'.

She stopped when she arrived at a door with the name 'Mireya' engraved on it, and knocked.

"Come in." She heard a young female voice say calmly.

But she wasn't so calm.

"Mi?" The other girl whispered.

"Oh, Audrey! Thank you for coming... I needed to talk to you." Mireya smiled.

"About?"

"I have a major issue, and you're the genius friend here."

"What's the problem?" Audrey asked, obviously confused.

"Actually, I have to tell you later." Mireya looked outside her window, where something was taking place in the palace courtyard. She grabbed Audrey's hand, and ran out of her room, heading down the hallway of the palace.

"Where are we going?!" Audrey yelled.

"The courtyard!" Mireya huffed. "No time to explain!"

--

"Marona Ikemi." A woman said with a strict voice. It was the Queen. Rayna Aviana.

The girl who was apparently named Marona stood handcuffed to a tall and wide rock. The rock and handcuffs had strange markings on them. Marona was struggling to release herself, but it wasn't going so well.

"It's funny how much you, a member of the Earth Squad, came here," Rayna began. "Was it to kidnap me? So you could take advantage of my kingdom?"

Marona spit in her face.

"I see." The queen sighed.

"Why can't I use my Earth powers?" She eventually said.

Rayna just laughed and looked her dead in the eye.

"The markings."

Rayna turned away from Marona, and looked at the guards.

"Hang her." The queen demanded.

The guards nodded.

--

Mireya sat at the entrance of the courtyard next to Audrey, and pointed at Marona, who was panicking for her life.

"Go untie that girl very quickly and quietly, alright? I'll distract my mother." Mireya whispered to Audrey, and Audrey nodded as she scampered off.

Mireya walked out into the sunshine of the day in the courtyard and glanced at her mom.

"Mother!" She yelled.

Rayna glared at her, and managed to smile and wave.

Mireya quickly looked to see how Audrey was doing, and she managed to untie the Marona girl.

Mireya signaled them to run, but the guards noticed, and yelled out.

Audrey facepalmed and grabbed Marona's wrist and ran over to Mireya, and Audrey forcefully put up an ice wall.

Marona coughed out blood and looked up at both Audrey and Mireya.

"Thank you." She whispered.

The ice broke into pieces, and Rayna stared at all of them. She grew angry and threw countless attacks at them.

"MIREYA! TAKE THE GIRL AND RUN!" Audrey screamed. Mireya did as she was told and ran out of the courtyard, and looked back by mistake, seeing Audrey getting stabbed by an ice sword.

--

Mireya turned in the hallway, turning as fast as she can, trying to avoid slipping. Her white hair stuck to her face, and she was insanely sweating.

She ran into her room, slammed the door and locked it. She put Marona on her bed, and started to barricade the door and her window. She used her desk to block the door, and her dresser and wooden posters to block her window.

She grabbed two of her blankets, and put them on Marona. Mireya pulled up a chair and sat down.

"I hope you're okay." Mireya whispered.

Marona looked up at her, and smiled a little bit.

"I'm okay. Thank you."

Mireya started tearing up, and hugged her.

"What's your name?" Mireya asked.

"Marona. Marona Ikemi. How about you?"

"Mireya. Mireya Aviana."

"So you're the queen's daughter?"

"Sadly, yes."

"Why did you betray her?"

Mireya sighed, "I wanted to save you."

"Why me?"

"There's... Something about you. It's difficult to explain."

Marona smiled.

"Your smile is adorable." Mireya pointed out.

"What? No! I bet yours is cuter."

"You haven't even see me smile!" Mireya whined.

"Smile." Marona plainly said.

Mireya made a whining noise and smiled.

"See, it's cuter."

"No!"

Marona giggled, "Yes, it is!"

Marona sat up from the bed and rested her head on Mireya's shoulder.

"You're blushing." Marona laughed.

"N-no I'm not!" Mireya stuttered.

"Then why are you blushing?~"

Mireya breathed.

"Shut up and kiss me already."
