⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Axel's POV
⠀⠀⠀The annoying sound of an alarm clock buzzed the room, not Axel's favorite moment of the day. Of course he hit the snooze button once, twice, maybe a few more times, but overall that didn't matter because right before he was about to hit it again a hand stopped him.
⠀⠀⠀"Axel, get the hell up—you're going to be late for work." A woman's soft voice sounded in his ear, before placing a light kiss behind his ear, and the clink of her heels patting away.
⠀⠀⠀"Arabella you know how to tease man," a smirk spread across the male's features as he took the pillow beside him and tossed it at the woman standing in front of the mirror. A screech of laughter erupted from her as he came up behind her, lacing his arms around her and kissing the sides of her neck.
⠀⠀⠀"Axel get off, you're going to make me late." A sudden rush of annoyance crossed the female's features, as she unraveled his arms from her.
"Oh right because you have so much to do today, like go to brunch with the snobs and turn your noses up." The male countered back. She shot a small glance at him before grabbing her keys, "I'll see you whenever you decide to get home tonight." Her tone only pure anger as she slammed the door behind her.
⠀⠀⠀Axel wasn't able to even finish before the door shut, causing the rustic coat hanger on the door to sway. "Unlike you I actually have a job—" the male scoffed. The two were just engaged, who knew what other fights would come.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Lucidia POV
⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀Waking up at six o'clock in the morning was no issue for the scarlet haired girl. It was her usual routine: getting up, showering, dressing herself, eating, and walking two blocks down to the small café she worked at. Seattle was her city, she loved the atmosphere of people as well as the weather at that. The constant, dreary, cold rain kept her nerves at ease in such a busy, notorious city.
⠀⠀⠀Upon the arrival of the small café the female unlocked the doors and went off to clock into work, tying her small black apron around her waist. A small smile appearing as her co-worker, Roseanne walked in.
⠀⠀⠀"Well look who it is the devil herself," Lucidia chuckled before continuing to set up the café.
⠀⠀⠀The damp femme rolled her eyes at the red haired girl. "No doubt about it—that's me," Roseanne scoffed.
⠀⠀⠀"Any of the crazy police dreams happen last night?" The blond questioned Lucidia, who was across the café setting up chairs and writing on the the chalk board the specials of the day.
⠀⠀⠀Turning on her heels the freckled girl looked at the blonde her brows furrowed.
"N-No not last night, but this morning I had a headache stepping out of the shower and flashes of an argument. I'm telling you Roseanne, I need to write a story I'd make money off of this." The female chuckled softly before returning to her fancy scribbles.
