Blue Trees?

I woke up with a blurry vision, but looking up I still notice the sky's light orange shade. And my bed felt solid as a rock under me. Wait a minute...this isn't my bed.

Oh shit, I was on the ground. Eww. I quickly sat up, wiping away the dirt, and something else weird.  "Eww, eww!!! Was that a snail?! Holy shit!!!" I said as I wiped away the dirt from my back. And that's when I saw it, I wasn't wearing my jeans and t-shirt. I was wearing a dress. It was made of silk and it was white, with black patterns at the upmost top and the same black patterns on the bottom edges. I would never wear this, even if it was comfortable light and...dare I say, pretty. Also it was super form fitting. But still, how the heck did these clothes get on?

Oh shit... was I like taken advantage of or something? Well, I felt completely normal, so that's good. But then again, I woke up on the ground wearing a dress, and what is this strapped to my waist, are these arrows? Who in the world uses arrows? Like they weren't even modern, they were made of wood with unusual, yet beautiful carvings on them. Cute, they even came with an old fashioned bow. I counted them up; nine. Then, on the left side of my waist was a little black pouch. I held it and took a look in it. And it seemed to be filled with dried up plants. I wrinkled my nose when I took a whiff, foul!

Okay, I tried to pull myself together with a deep breath and looked around to see where I was. I think it was a forest. Definitely a place with a lot of trees, or let's just say the closet things to a tree. They all looked to be made of wood, and they were an astounding height, and yes, they had leaves. But the colors were red, to the leaves all the way to the roots trunks. Except for one lone tree far away that had a red trunk and purple leaves. But those huge things were just the first of what that I saw. Once my eyes got used to the strange colors, I examined the ground. It was mostly dirt and some mud, very sandy colored I believe. Then I thought for a moment, I actually didn't realize how calm I was.

Of course at first anybody with a brain would be freaked out by this bizarre situation. But after some time to adjust, I felt way more comfortable. Like a certain homey feeling I would have never got from Manchester. That's understandable, right? Well, maybe there is a possibility I might have gone crazy. 'Cause who knows how I got here, oh jeez, I hope I'm not unconscious somewhere, or dead.

Argh! I was just about to freak out again when something inside me just told me not to give a damn anymore. Matter of fact, I'm quite thirsty. I need water. Like right now. So I stood up straight, and started walking. I didn't know where I was going, I just had a feeling that the water would be straight ahead. And boy, I didn't know how much I was craving water until I felt myself heating up a little. So I just kept walking... and walking. Until I couldn't walk anymore. As I was walking, there were less red trees, and the purple trees, now with purple trunks seemed to take over. And the sun kept on rising. Next thing I knew, the trees started turning from purple, to a dark blue. Yeah, yeah the place was pretty, but still no sign of water! And I knew I was getting tired when the dress seemed to be weighing me down. I just felt like falling asleep under one of those blue trees. But I really needed to go to get some water. Oh man, how long was I out for?!.

While walking, I couldn't help but wonder what color the water would be? I mean, with the white soil and the blue trees. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if the water was orange. Oh gosh, imagine the people. I bet they were like green or something. Plus the more I walked, I was soon feeling a little hungry. And worst of all nothing exciting was happening! But I had no choice but to keep walking until the sun was all the way up in the sky, signaling noon. That was when I saw it... the lake, Oh my gosh it was a lake. And the water wasn't even colored strangely.

I ran to the lake, I was so happy, if this was a mirage I would have... Would have...oh screw it! It was water. Real water. I drank it up in earnest, my dress getting soaked. I dipped my face in the water, washing off any dirt. That's when I noticed it, my face. The water might have been its normal color, but my face wasn't. It wasn't even my face. I was a...white girl (no offense to white girls.) My skin was a really pale pink, my eyes were bright green, and my eyelashes were really full and long even though I knew I wasn't wearing mascar,  my lips were a darker pink. And my hair was dark. Raven black actually. And compared to the pale face, it looked even darker.

If there ever was a time for panic, this was definitely it. Who was this girl staring back at me? What happened to my dark cocoa skin? My brown eyes? What happened to my long black hair? It lost its texture, but at least it had shine... wait, what?! What was happening to me? Where was I? And why do I keep hearing those annoying footsteps behind m-

Oh no. For goodness sake if there's a monster behind me, I swear I'm just going to freak out. 'Cause my feet his gone through enough walking. So running away will not be an option for this girl.
