The door opened.
"Hey Spencer!"

"Hey Emily, what are you doing here?"

"I'm here to get things straight."

"Get things straight, what do you mean?"

"You lied to me!"

"What?"

"You know what I mean!"

"Ahh..."

"You lied to me about being at the hospital!"

"It's not a big deal, it's just the hospital!"

"Spencer! You can't just say that! You never get injured!"

"Well....I'm going through a lot right now!"

"So am I, as a matter of fact, all of us are going through a lot, so don't make such excuses Spencer!"

"I'm sorry, I don't know what to say...."

"Spencer, I'm your friend, you know that you can tell me anything....if it makes you feel any better, I might be going through something similar to what you may be going through."

"Try me."

"Hanna knows this as well, so, don't freak out."

"Okay..."

"I'm donating my eggs."

"Wait, what, why?"

"When my dad passed away, he left me some money for college, I blew that money away. I literally ruined my life because I was so wasted from learning that my dad had died, and I wasn't there for my mum. I skipped a few classes, and soon they got rid of my scholarship. My friend told me about donating my eggs, to get some money to finish college. I looked into it, and decided that I would to do the procedure here, in Rosewood. So I did."

"Oh."

"And now I'm hear, standing here asking about why you lied to me, and what happened to you."

Spencer was quite for a while.
"I'm sick Emily..."

"Oh. How bad is it?"

"Pretty bad, it's about years ago, when Toby and I were still together."

"Spill."

"I got pregnant Emily." She sighed. I tensed up a little.

"Who was the father?' I asked just to make sure.

"Emily, don't worry, it was Toby!"

I gasped in relief. "Continue."

"I didn't tell him about the baby, so I went to get an abortion. I was in my last few years of college, and I couldn't have this baby."

Spencer sniffled a little.

"So you went to get an abortion?"

"Yeah, but they said that there was a problem with the abortion procedure. Something when wrong and I developed something in my liver.."

"No, are you trying to say that.." Spencer cut me off.

"Yeah I am Em. The doctors said I got liver cancer."

"So, what now?"

"Well, that explains why I was acting weird around Toby, I haven't told him about any of this."

"So no one knows about this, except for me?"

"Not just you, Melissa knows. She was the one who comforted me during the abortion procedures."

"What are they going to do about the cancer?"

"They're are giving me a liver transplant here."

"Which hospital?"

"It's called the 'Hollis Medical Centre'"

"No way, so am I, well I'm getting my procedure done there. Spencer, now that I know about what you're going through, I can help you get through it. So don't worry."

"Thanks Em! I love you !"

"Ohhhhh..I love you too!"
