Mira-Belle's P.O.V

Oh my god, how much longer. I shift my glance over to the clock sitting on the wall. Today is the very last day of school for me, ever. My name is Mira-Belle, I am eighteen and in the twelfth grade of high school. But at the moment it seriously looked like the second hand on the clock isn't even moving, then I hear the soft chanting, barely louder than a whisper.

29, 28, 27, 26-

I turn around slightly in my desk to see that most of the class are also staring at the clock in anticipation. I must admit the sight was hilarious. The countdown got to ten and I decided to join in.

...6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.

*Ring

"WHOO!" everyone cheered. Papers and textbooks went flying around the room, teens jumped up on top of their desks and partied like wild animals. I too got up and threw my maths book into the air letting its contents spill about the classroom floor. I stepped up onto my table and danced about like a maniac, letting my hair fall out around my shoulders.

When I was close to pooped I got off of the desk and picked up my belongings that I had thrown around. I had been careful to hang on to my assignment though, I didn't want to lose that. I pushed my way through the still noisy partying crowd in the room and made my way to the teachers desk. She was sitting there with crooked glasses staring in astonishment at the class.

"Um, hello," I snapped my fingers in her face. She blinked a few times then looked up at me from where she was sitting.

"Y-y-yes," she stuttered. I rolled my eyes then smiled at her.

"Here's my assignment," I say loudly over the crowd and slap the eleven page document on her desk then walked straight out of the room before she could say anything.

I found my friends in the mess hall standing around our table, the table we had been eating at for the past three years. The boys were there too.

"Mira!" my three bestest friends in the whole wide world called to me. I ran up to them and leapt right into their open arms.

"Oh my gosh, can you believe it. It's the last day of school," Kelsey squealed in excitement, jumping up and down.

"Whoa, whoa, calm down there sugar buns," Caden said to her holding down her arms.

By the way, Kelsey and Caden are twins. They both have dark brown hair and round faces. Caden is slightly shorter and darker then Kelsey and also thinner. Harley is the tom-boy out of the group, she took engineering as an elective for the whole of high school. Harley has long blonde hair and is very thin even though she's probably the strongest out of all of us, even some of the boys.

"Haha, don't get too excited Kelsey. You haven't even gotten your report yet," Jacob laughed.

"Shut up, I don't care about that at the moment. Right now it's time to partaaay."

Kelsey grabbed her sister's arm and pulled her suddenly towards the front doors of the school. I laughed at the scene and grabbed Harley's arm. She groaned once and rolled her eyes but allowed herself to be pulled along. The boys followed close behind us.

Our group weaved in and out of the crowded hallway to the front of the school. There were even people making out against the lockers. I see the doors right in front of me and with Harley's help, we kick the doors wide open on impact. I ran down the stairs taking them in two, while Harley just jumped the whole lot all together and landed then rolled. We all sprawled ourselves on the grass lawn, out of breath. Jacob, Kyle, Matt and Will joined us.
