I watched as my mom used her magic to help her cook. After a few minutes of watching her I decided to head up to my room to get ready for school. Instead of changing my clothes like normal people I snapped my fingers and I was no longer wearing my pajamas. I was now wearing a pair of blue skinny jeans, a white tank top, a half black leather jacket, and a pair of black boots. That is one of the many perks of being a witch. I grabbed my bag and ran downstairs grabbing a piece of sausage eating it on the way out.
I grabbed my keys to my truck and shut the front door jumping in my truck and starting the engine. I backed out of the driveway. There are more then just witches though. There are vampires, werewolves, fairies, pixies etc.
My family is one of the most powerful witch families. I won't get all of my powers until my 18th birthday which is May 4.
I parked my truck and jumped out grabbing my cellphone and bag.
I walked into the cafeteria everyone turning their heads to look at me. I don't see why though my brown hair flew back as a blast of wind hit me. I walked over to my friends sitting down putting my bag down next to me. My cousin Amy is a werewolf and my friends Tamara and Tara are witches like me.
“ Hey.” They all said in unison as I sat down.
“ Hey anything new?” I asked looking at Amy who was staring at someone not even paying attention.
“ New people are going to this school.” Is all Tamara said. Tamara has darkish brown hair and brown eyes and was kind of tan. Tara has brown hair, brown eyes, and a little bit tanner and taller then Tamara. Amy has light brown hair with chocolate colored eyes.
I looked behind me at the doorway to see seven people standing there staring at me. There were three girls and four boys and by the looks of them they were werewolves. I looked all of them over, but one of them caught my eye. He had short brown hair, tan skin, brown eyes, and really tall. He made eye contact with me and I felt like me and him were the only two people in the world. He was the first to break contact and right then I felt cold. I looked back at my friends to see Amy was still gawking at one of the guys. I decided to have a little fun with her being distracted. I looked around to make sure there were no humans around. I then snapped my fingers and made the water in her hand pour all over her.
“ Hey!” She yelled as Tamara, Tara, and I started laughing. I heard a viscious growl erupt from behind me. I just rolled my eyes knowing it was one of the werewolves.
“ Chill out Amy it was just water. Here.” I snapped my fingers again and she became dry. “ Happy?”
“ Very.”
“ Tamara, Tara when it gets closer to your 18th birthday do your powers get stronger, and do more come in?” I whispered not wanting anyone to hear me.
“ Yea watch.” Tamara waved her hand and the salad bar's food went everywhere. I felt someone's presence behind me. My friends looked up at the people behind me and I slowly turned around to have my face only inches away from one of the four guys. My breath caught in my throat as I realized it was the guy that caught my eye. I turned my head and looked at the rest of them before looking back at my friends. Amy was still staring at one of the guys and he was staring back at her. I then realized they were mates. I awkwardly sat there as three of them were staring at me.
“ May I help you?” I finally asked a little irritated. They just stood there and kept staring. I got up about to grab my bag when someone grabbed my shoulder sending tingles through my arm. I froze for a minute before turning around. “ That's impossible.” I breathed out. I turned around and looked at Tamara and Tara. They shrugged making eye contact with me. I looked at Amy hoping she could help me, but she was busy making out with her mate. I hurriedly grabbed my bag and took off to the hallway. I had to get out of there.
