Lauren's POV:

The next day I opened my locker and saw a folded piece of paper in there. I sighed. I'm sure it's just another stupid note from those stupid idiots.

I go to crumble it but something tells me not to. I open it and it reads:
Super Lo,
I thought you could use a good note instead the ones that those stupid idiots wrote yesterday, well today. I'm writing this in detention but you'll get it tomorrow lol. Anyways, you don't know how much I wish guys like that could get their dicks cut off and shredded. Sorry that's so violent, it just pisses me off. Don't listen to them Lauren, because it hurts my heart to see you upset. You're perfect, know that. You're a hero to me even when you think you aren't. I love you, bestfriend.

I didn't realize how hard I was blushing until I was finished reading it. I read it through two more times because that's how happy it made me. She was thinking about me while sitting in detention that she got while standing up for me. Im convinced I have the greatest bestfriend in the world.

I fold the note up and stick it in my back pocket now having enough motivation to get through the day. 'Wait what is this idea she's talking about?' I think to myself remembering what the extra note said at the bottom of the letter. 'Hmm we'll see'

I get to the class that I have with Normani and everything goes smoothly. Shawn and Austin were basically shaking in their heals once they saw Normani come in. I mean she did put them on blast and out their secret in front of the whole class. The rumors were now spreading like wildfire and I loved it.

Class is over and I go to talk to Normani "Thanks for that this morning, it sort of made my day"

She scrunches her eyebrows jokingly "Sort of?". I stick my tongue out.

"Anyways since we're talking about the note, let's talk about my idea"

"What is it?" I questioned, she always had crazy ideas but I never told her no to any of them. I couldn't tell her no she would always pout cutely and make me change my mind.

"Well uhh I was thinking.. you could hang out with me and my friends after school. They want to meet you"

"NOPE" I respond almost too quickly. I know exactly who she's talking about Dinah and Ally.

"Laur why not? Pleaseee, for me?" She said grabbing my hips pulling me into her a little, I gasp and my heart pounds. I know it was only friendly but damn my stomach is fluttering right now. She clears her throat snapping me out of it.

"Normani they know who I am. They see me with you all of the time & you know what they do? Ignore me"

She let go of my waist and scratched her head. 'God why did she let go?' "That's the past Lauren, I told them how much you mean to me & they said we could all be friends"

"How much do I mean to you?" I question teasing

"Shut up, a whole fucking lot. You know this"

She's right I did know I just wanted her to say it. "Okay I'll do it, but I swear if either one of them makes me mad I have the right to punch them"

"Laur.." She pats my cheek "you wouldn't hurt a fly"

After school I meet them in the parking lot where we are all going to wait for Mama Drea at. She was our transportation since none of us drove, we were in the 9th grade for Petes sake.
