"you cant do this! she belomgs to me, and me only!" i bellowed at the alpha.

"she oviously hasnt chosen you! its been 1 month, alex!"

i hissed at his words, she has chosen me, and her wolf has too, abbi just doesn't  know what to do with her feelings.

alpha took a step closer, placing his hand on my shoulder, "look, alex, i know its hard for you to have her not feel the same, for her not to love you." he said.

"its not like that! she does love me! she just doesnt know what to do with it!" i growled at him, breaking the distance between us. he was slightly shorter then me, but his build was just biger.

he sighed, "if you say. ill give you 1 week, to win abbi's love. to get her to prove her love to you, her mate."

i felt relived, " thank you alpha. what about her farther? he beat her again lastnight when i was out. he put her in the hospital, with 3 broken ribs." when i was gone for the day to a pack meeting, abbi had suffered hell with her dad. when i got back she was on the edge of consciousness, and could nearly breath. i hadn't gotten back at her dad, for he was out drinking and fucking whores.

"he will be spoken too,"

"spoken to?! i want him out of her life! hes damaging her, alpha. amd it kills me to know that shes put up with that monster for her whole life. you have to sort this shit out, or ill have to do something stupid."

he nodded, and as i turned and open the door he said, " just dont do anything stupid. nothing youll regret."

I considered my options of beating the life put of her farther, nit what would that do for me? make her hate me more probably.

"fine," I sighed, "but what about her mother?"

"what about her?"

I frowned, how could he say that. Abbi's mother was dying and he showed no sympathy to the old woman, "what do you mean 'what about her?! her mother is flicking dying and all you can say is 'what about her?!" I was starting to wonder wether this alpha I'm seeing now is the same man that let me into the pack 5 years ago.

"there is nothing I can do for the woman. she is just a dead woman to me. there is no cure and she will die is a couple of days anyway."

a deep growl escaped my chest, "your just going to let her die! how can you do that! she is a part of your pack!"

one of Alpha's eyes twitched, then they both darkened as he growled, "I'm the alpha of this pack! you have no authority to speak to me like that! I could easily kill you right Alexandria! and no one would miss you, not even your mate! no get out of my sight, you are dismissed and this meeting is over. be grateful that I'm still allowing you to still try to win Abbi. so don't test my patience, I have had it with you!"

I scowled at him, then turned on my heal, walking to the door to leave.

abbi p.o.v

i was thankfull for my quick healing, because i would have been in a great deal of pain right now, rather then having a huge bruse covering my rib cage. my skin was a purply blue colour, something ive grown use to.

but what had i done to desurve such a beatin'?!

nothing!

tears slipped through my eyes as remembered the abusive pain. the stickeyness of the blood driping down my face, sliming its way to the floor into a red pool of blood.
