Pushing Away

"Why do you push everyone away?!" The orange haired boy stood yelling at Kageyama. "Is your team not important anymore? Am I not important?" Kageyama looked into Hinata's eyes, which were full of tears. Hinata's rage only grew from the silence that lingered. Hinata broke the silence, his voice cracking while trying not to cry, "Why are you pushing away me away? What did I do?" Kageyama took a deep breath and spoke silently, "I'm just so scared to touch happiness, only to have it taken away. Maybe that's why I push everyone away and maybe that why I'm so guarded. I don't think I'll be able to touch happiness with out feeling love, and I don't know if I can love at all." Hinata stared into the boy's eyes and shortly after, grabbed Kageyama'sjacket and pressed his forehead onto his chest. "What is your happiness?" Hinata questioned the taller boy holding his tears back, only to hear words he'd never thought he'd hear. "You. You are my happiness, although I can't have you." Hinata was confused by Kageyama's response and looked up at him, "Why can't you?" Kageyama started crying softly when Hinata asked and his voice started to crack "I'm dying Hinata and I don't have enough time left." Hinata's grip on Kageyama'a jacket broke as he cried in the arms of his dying love. Shortly after, Kageyama fell to the ground. Hinata grabbed the dark haired boy. "No no no please not now!" He called an ambulance, they took Kageyama to the hospital. Hinata went to the hospital the next day and was greeted by Kageyama's parents, he was hoping for a warm welcome but all he got was a date of Kageyama's funeral.
