A/N it's been three months but hi.
Dans PoV

My eyes were closed. I missed him, I liked him, he liked Chris, excited messages and endless conversations are all we had now.
I must say I missed it, the slight flirting and the bond we had.
I've never really had that with anyone, now dark circles rimmed my eyes and work felt harder, the project was coming on well but he doesn't help me as much.
His work was beautiful, a black jacket with an intricate iridescent blue skull on the back and white planets around it. Mine? Well it was pastel. All delicate detailed and perfectly pastel.
I opened my eyes at the sound of footsteps, the bus stop was calm and I listened to the wish of cars, fiddling with the hem of my grey sweater. I was in a grey mood.
The bench dips slightly next to me; Phil. I put on a smile. "Hey! How...how are you?" I faltered at the sight of his hair, it was all black, no more blue. "I like it, it suits you."
"Thanks." A shy smile doubtfully spread its way  across his face, not quite reaching his eyes. The bus pulled in and I lifted my bag, walking on and sitting at the back.
The next hour was Phil telling me about Chris. Fun.

"Hello?" I sigh as I carefully walked into my home, could I call it that? It didn't feel like it. Everyone was gone; my mum was out at work, my dad most likely at the pub and Adrian? Probably taking drugs somewhere.
My current book, death note, was laying on the floor ripped and supporting the broken leg of a chair.
I walked up the rickety stairs, past their rooms, past the two unused offices and into my bedroom. My mums paper and books lay around the floor, my "bed" a pile of her clothes and my pillows in her room for her own comfort. She didn't care.
This was why I had the other room. I reached behind my bookcase, my hand clasping around the ladder and pulling it out as quietly as possible, pushing it through the trapdoor to the attic. I climbed in, it was simple, all my money went on bedding for up here, everyone took the bedding from the bedroom so I bought this. The attic is small. The size of two double beds.. Half taken up by a workspace for sewing and half by bedding and fairy lights. On my walls were posters, posters of FOB MUSE smash mouth, Jimmy eat world, sum 41, the escapes I had.
I lay down and just like that, I was asleep.
