It was a dark and stormy night. The rebellious teenage prince of a very, very, very small kingdom (if you could call it that) road down a beaten dirt path into the woods on his donkey. His family was not wealthy enough to own a horse. He kicked and kicked and kicked the side of the donkey, trying desperately to get it to go faster, but donkeys are not horses and can only go so fast.

He was on his way to a party with some if his friends that was going to take place in a cottage just through the woods and beyond the creek. His parents didn't know about him sneaking out. They were fast asleep back in their very, very, very small castle.

The Prince felt his horse slide in the mud before collapsing and sending him tumbling out of the edge of the forest and into a clearing. He landed with his face in a muddy puddle.

He slowly lifted up his head and sat up. The prince wiped the mud off his face and out of eyes and looked straight ahead.

In the middle of the clearing stood a very, very, very tall tower with a huge staircase leading from the ground to the top. The old stones and crumbling shingles made it look really old.

"Whoa," the prince said in awe as he stared up at the tower.

He slowly made his way to the base of the tower. There was a window with closed shutters above him so he shouted," Hello?! Anyone home?!"

The shutters immediately flew open and slammed against the tower walls.

"Who goes there?!" Screamed a very ugly teenage girl with extremely long, ratty, brown hair.

"Uhhhhh, K-k-kevin," the prince stuttered, for he was caught up in the the girl's "beauty."

"Oh, hi Kevin!" The girl responded cheerily. "I'm Rapunzel!"

"H-hi! Um would you, uh maybe, like wanna, maybe go to a, um party with me?" Kevin asked Rapunzel.

"Well sure! I love parties!" She exclaimed. "But first you have to help me down from this tower."

The prince looked longingly up at the "beautiful" girl in the tower. He needed to find a way to get her down. But how? All of the sudden a brilliant idea popped into his head," Rapunzel! Rapunzel! Let down your haaaiiirrrrr!!"

"Wait. You want me to do, what?!" She exclaimed.

"Let down your beautiful hair so I can climb up and rescue you!" Kevin shouted back.

"Uh, ok," Rapunzel replied as she gathered her very, very, very long, ratty, brown hair and threw it out the window and down the side of the tower.

The prince gathered all her hair together and pulled himself up on it, which didn't last long. All of his weight (Kevin wasn't the skinniest of princes) pulled Rapunzel out of the window. He jumped back and watched her fall, do a graceful ninja roll, and stand up.

The prince watched in amazement as Rapunzel walked over to him, "You know, you could have just used the stairs," she said and pointed to the giant staircase leading up the side of the tower.

Kevin turned beat red in embarrassment.

Rapunzel began to lean in and the prince thought that she was going in for a kiss. He gladly took this opportunity. He leaned in slowly and just when he thought their lips were about to meet, Rapunzel licked his nose and ran off giggling and skipping in the direction Kevin had just rode in from.

His donkey was waiting at the tree line.

"Hey! I like your ass!" She exclaimed, looking back at Kevin.

Kevin blushed and looked at his own behind, "Is it really that sexy?"

Rapunzel giggled again, "No you crazy sausage! Your donkey! Over there by the trees!"

"Oh thank you," the prince replied.

"What's his name?" She asked.

"Donkey," Kevin replied simply.

"Oh. That's really creative!" She said, no sarcasm whatsoever in her voice.

"Yeah, I came up with it myself," he said proudly.

"But you know what would be even better?!" Rapunzel asked, excitement in her voice.

"What?" The prince wondered.

"SPARKLES!!" She exclaimed and started jumping around and throwing glitter and sparkles everywhere that she was getting out of her dress pocket.

"Hey! Who are you calling Sparkles?! The name's Donkey!" The donkey shouted suddenly.

Kevin and Rapunzel screamed. The two of them darted into the forest and soon found a little cottage and ran inside.

A little old man was sitting in a wooden rocking chair in front of the fireplace reading a book.

The house smelled strongly if gingerbread.

A little old woman was throwing a batch of gingerbread cookies in the oven.
