Ivy Allen was an average child moving into her new house in a new town. Ivy was 13 and very pale, she was flat chested, had beautiful green eyes, and long black hair which she wore in a braid.
Ivy wasn't looking forward to moving, in fact her mother made her move. Ivy had a small family of just Ivy, her mother, and her father. Ivy's parents wanted to move to a smaller house.
Ivy missed her old room. She remembered how everything was set up; The clock that didn't work was next to the door, all her photos where next to her bed, the place on the floor she carved her name was under her book shelf, she even missed the closet.
"Ivy come down here!" It was her mother, she sounded mad. So Ivy rushed down the stairs in a hurry. She saw her mothers face- it was a false alarm, she wasn't mad but she was being louder than usual. Ivy and her mother where both short. Ivy's mother had black hair which she kept in a bun. She was tanner than her daughter and had brown eyes and long eye lashes.
"Why did you call me?" Ivy asked "I thought you said that I was done with my chores." " I need you to go through and count things." "What kind of things?" Ivy asked " Oh, just things like Windows and doors, I also need you to check all the closets to make sure the last family didn't leave anything for us," She replied " Fine," Ivy said, she was used to doing the stuff her parents didn't want to do. So Ivy went around for what seemed forever and ended up with a list for her mother that read:
15 WINDOWS
9 DOORS
4 CLOSETS
20 LIGHTS
11 FANS
21 OUTLETS
5 FIRE ALARMS
1 MIRROR (LEFT BEHIND)
2 FIREPLACES/CHIMNEYSBy now Ivy was bored so she gave the list to her mother. She read the list and left Ivy alone. Ivy went up to her room, she thought it was trash. It was small compared to her old room and FILLED with boxes. The color of the walls was light pink as if a four year old princess lived in that room. Ivy had trouble calling it her room she just called it the room.
So Ivy just sat and made a list of all the things she hated about the new house.
