Emma came into the Charmings apartment swiftly nearly startling her parents. Mary jumped, David looked up at his daughter in surprise who was smiling. "Easy on the door, Emma! I just fixed the hinges." He said, sternly.
Emma slowed when closing the door, shutting it lightly. "Sorry, I've just got some good news to tell you." She said, quickly. Both Mary & David straighten their posture, sitting upright. They were ready to listen. "What?!" They both said at the same time. Emma chuckled. "It's not that exciting.. But, I have someone coming over I'd like you to meet."
They sat there in shock. For what Emma didn't know why, it was just someone she met she wanted them to meet. David looked as if he was internally screaming, then he spoke. "You have a boyfriend and didn't even mind giving your mother and I the insider?!"

Emma had no idea how to talk to her father when he got all territorial over her like this. "Nah- No! Mom, dad he's just someone I met, we have nothing going on." She spat, hoping not to sound like a child. Mary jumped up from her chair. "So, it is a guy?" She exclaimed.

Emma started getting frustrated. "GUYS! He's just someone I met who is new!! He's coming over at 6;30. One normal night, that's all I ask!" Both of them stopped and sat down. She sighed, sitting at the table.. "His name is Blaze. Look, I just want us to have a good impression. He has no idea Emma & Henry have magic so they have t keep it together." Her parents nodded processing what they had hear. Emma was hoping on a good note rather than a bad one. She heard footsteps from above. Henry came down the stairs

"What about me & my sister?" He glanced at Emma, although Mary was who had stood up to speak. "Your mother's boyf-" She stopped herself before sayings so knowing her daughter wouldn't approve. She continued." ..a friend of her's is coming over t meet us." David snickered, Mary glared at him. Henry rose his eyebrows in surprise.What was so special about this guy? Why was he coming to meet us? Emma got up from her chair walking over to Henry, she put her hands on his shoulders.

"Look Kid,someone is coming over to see us.He's a normal guy. And he doesn't know we have magic.That means keep your powers in check." He looked over at Mary, she just shrugged. "Oh, uh, okay mom." He replied, sounding more questioning than he had hoped. Emma Clark, Emma Swan's only daughter came running down the stairs, she stood next to Henry. She smiles. "What's going on?" Henry whispered something in her ear and she giggled. "Oh."

Then the doorbell rang, they all got up. "I'll get it!!" they all said at once. Emma just looked at her family shaking her head. "No, I got it. Just act natural." Once again David snickered, this time Mary slapped him with his own newspaper. Emma walked over to the door opening it....
