~Chapter 11~

Aiden’s point of view

“Are you ok?” I asked Gage. She was holding on to me like her life depended on it and crying.

“I just found out that my twin brother is still alive and that my mother was an angel! How the hell do you think I feel?” she yelled shoving me away from her. It pained me to see her like this. Why did I have to say something so stupid? She went over to the cupboard and grabbed some clothes. “I’m having a shower whether you like it or not!” she stormed out of the room and slammed the door shut behind her. Alex and I stood in shock for a few minutes until we heard the shower running.

“Well then.” I said breaking the silence. I looked at Alex who looked like he had seen a ghost. “Alex? Are you alright?”

“i...uh... Aidrian?”

“Yes. That’s what the guy said.” I said.

“No! Your name! When we found you, you never spoke. But when you turned five you told us your name was Aidrian. We named you Aiden instead just in case someone was looking for you.”

“What?” I yelled.

“It could just be a coincidence mate. Calm down.”

“I am her brother then. I look like her, I talk like her, we have that bond thing and I do have a demun blood in me. That’s why I have a short temper.”

“Jesus Christ you are, aren’t you? That’s how you saved her!”

“We can’t tell Gage though until were sure about this. Between me and you bro.”

“Between you and me.” We shook hands and then I went over and grabbed some clothes out. I chose a pair of black jeans and a black shirt that said ‘I would take a bullet for you... on COD...  LOL jks that would ruin my kill streak.’

“Now get out and go get changed. Your clothes are in the spare room downstairs.” I said shoving him towards the door.

“What spare room?”

“It has your name on the door, so you can’t miss it.”

“Why do you get the awesome powers?” he muttered as he walked out the room. When he left I got changed. I went over to my cupboard again and looked at my bag for school. I grabbed my shorts and my archer’s shirt and shoved it in my bag. I glanced at Gage’s bag and realized she had sport today. I grabbed her swimmers that she bought plus her boots and sport wear. I put them in her bag too and put my lucky archer’s glove in there for her to use.

“What are you doing?” Gage said. I turned around and swore I could see an angel.

“i was putting some stuff in your bag. I put... this in there to.” I said pulling the glove out and then putting it back.

“Oh... um... sorry about before. I shouldn’t snap like that... anyway, what’s the glove for?”

“It’s my lucky archer’s glove.”

“Thanks... for everything... for accepting me even though I’m a demun.” She said slightly drying her damp hair with a towel.

“You’re not just a demun... your an angel as well.” I grabbed my bag and hers. “Come on. Let’s go downstairs.”

She smiled at me. “Ok big brother.”

“Do you know when you were born?” I asked randomly curious.

“Um, yeah. 2006, 6th of June.”

“Same here except I don’t know the exact day, it’s just in June.”

“Cool.”

“We will find your brother. I promise.”

“Thanks Aiden.”

We walked out of the room and downstairs, only to be met by Gabriel, a level six angel.
