World Apart[One Shot]

"Nakakainis ka naman Nathaniel eh. Wala pa nga tayo sa Happy Ending bigla ka nalang mags-stop" I gave him flowers and he smiled.

"You two are so different but there's one thing that is similar" I smiled and leave him dumbfounded.

My name is Lisanna and this is our story.

[ Lisanna is a short form of Elizabeth and means "holy, sacred to God"]

  I brushed my hair carefully and wear the dress he bought for me. It is a beautiful dress with curly laces at the end. 

 

"Halika na Iha, naghihintay na siya sa labas" my mom said.

"I'm coming mom!" I put on my heels and go downstairs.

"Kaygandang dalaga naman ng aking anak, nagmana ka talaga sa iyong ina" my dad said.

He gave me a boquet and hold my other hand. I blushed and my parents tease us.

"Huwag mong papabayaan ang anak ko ha?"

"Yes sir, I will protect her with all my life" he seriously said

I blushed again and smiled awkwardly.This is so embarassing!

"Sige na mga lovebirds, umalis na kayo para hindi na kayo abutin ng dilim sa daan"

"Sige po mom,dad alis na po kami"

Pumasok na kami sa kotse.

"Where are we going?"

"Alam mo na ata ang sagot eh"

I smile. Yes, I already knew the answer. We always go to the orphanage to visit the kids and hold a mini-concert.

It is our Fourth Anniversary today.

"How is your brother? Nagrerebelde pa rin ba?"

"He's okay, medyo kumalma na rin" he said

"Hayy salamat, mabuti naman" umalis kasi ang kapatid niya at maloka loka na kami kung saan siya hahanapin

Nalaman nalang namin na nasa Vacation House sila sa Batangas. We went there but it's too late. He leaves their house with his girlfriend which is already dead. She died when one of their guards shot her in the head.

I felt sad and pity for his brother.

His phone rang. He picked it up.
