Chapter 6: The Party

Kaleigh's POV.😍

We pulled up to Mac's house and immediately I knew tonight would be very eventful!

Jack walked up to where we're standing in front of Evie's car ready to walk into Mac's house and said "Hey pretty ladies, so are you just going to sit there, or are you going to join the party?"

"Oh we are definitely joining the party now that your here!" I said trying to sound flirty.

Jack pulled me by my arm into the party and I yelled at the girls that I would meet up with them later.

Evie's POV.😡

Ughhhh! Why did the party have to be at Mac's house of all people! I cant believe he even invited me! I hate him so much but I can't seem to stop thinking of him! Maybe it's because I hate him so much! Whatever, it's still a party and I spent a TON of money on my dress so I might as well use it and I had to come because all my friends were!

I saw Kaleigh being dragged off inside by Jack Husky. He was one of Mac's friends and I think he was the one I hit with spaghetti! Whoops! Oh well he seems nice enough and I just hoped he doesn't break Kaleighs heart because I know she really likes him.

So I walked into Mac's house and right away some guy who I think is in my History class came up to me and was like "Hey baby! You wanna dance? Im sure I'm good enough for you and you're not to far down from me in social standards!"

"Wow you are so drunk you are actually using words!" I said sarcastically.

"And no I will NOT dance with you because you are drunk, you're a creep and I just plainly don't friking like you! You're an ass!" I half yelled in his face and dumped the un-known drink he had given me when I walked in all over his head.

What can I say, I don't tolerate idiots, especially drunk idiots who hit on me and at the same time insult me! It's just who I am! Maybe that's why the guys in school don't talk to me much! Oh well, I could really care less! At least most of my friends accept my non-boyfriend life! Well my BFF Savannah doesn't. She is one of those girls who switches boyfriends every week. I think I've changed her though! Too bad she can't come because she's sick!

Needless to say, the guy I dumped my drink on got pissed and tried to slap me but I ducked and quick-walked away. I really didn't want to deal with drunken idiots! But all the guys at the party so far are just that so, I don't think tonight's going to be that fun!

Me, Melissa, and Halley all waked to the mini bar that was set up and helped ourselves to a drink. Well, Melissa and Halley did, I don't drink. None of my friends were those crazy drunk girls but they did drink some.

A couple guys came and hit on us and asked us to dance so we went to the dance floor. I have to say, we are all awesome dancers! We grinded against each other and when we finished I went to find Kaleigh.

I found her hanging with Jack by the drinks so I went and talked to them for a while.

"Hey what's up Evie? I didn't expect to see you here!" Jack said.

"Yeah well since Mac invited me and all my friends came I kinda had to" I said shrugging.

"Well you're one of the girls that a single glare from means 'I will rip your junk off if you even try to talk to me' so I didn't think you went to parties!" Jack said while laughing a little.

"Yeah I know, but like I said before, I was invited and so were my friends so I came" I said

I talked to them for a while, but then I went back to the dance floor. I was dancing with some guy name Justin, and I saw Mac dancing a little too close to the school slut Stacey and for some reason I got really jealous!

What am I thinking? I hate him so much so why should I care that he's dancing with the slut? Maybe I'm drunk but I don't know!

Halley's POV.😳😡😝

When we walked into Mac's house me, Evie, and Melissa were walking towards the drink table and some guy came and tried to hit on Evie but he ended up insulting her. Wow he must be either really drunk or really stupid to insult OR hit on Evie! She completely turned him down and dumped a drink on him! It was pretty funny to watch! Evie is one of those girls that doesn't care really about boys and we all respect that, well except for her BFF Savannah! Savannah is a totally different story, she is a bit slutty and we have tried telling Evie that but she doesn't listen like usual. She says that she has changed Savannah. While Evie can do a lot and I do mean a lot, the one thing she can't do, is change Savannah. Speaking of which, she's here! I had to find Evie and tell her because I thought she was too sick to come!

I couldn't find Evie though, I think she went to talk to Kaleigh and Jack.

I found her back on the dance floor staring at Mac and the school slut Stacey! She had this look on her face but before I could see what it was, she turned to me and put on a fake smile. I let it go for now, I would talk to her later. Now I had to tell her Savannah was here!

"Hey Evie! You won't believe who's here! Didn't you say Savannah couldn't make it because she's sick?' I yelled over the noise.

"Yeah, why?" Evie replied.

"Well she's here and she looks fine" I yelled again. We got Melissa and Kaleigh and I led them to Savannah who was still on the dance floor. Evie saw her and just stopped. She literally stopped, I've never seen her so shocked and so angry! I didn't know why she was so angry!

"What the f*** are you doing here Savannah!? You told me you were sick and now I see you here with him?!!!" Evie yelled!

Now I understood, the guy Savannah was dancing with and making out with was Evie's twin brother Colton! OMG, Evie is very protective of her brothers and they are all really close! I couldn't believe Savannah would do that!

"So what?" Savannah sneered.

"Now you finally show your true self bitch! You should know better than to mess with both us and Evie!" I yelled at Savannah.

"Whatever, I didn't even want to be your friend Evie, my parents made me because your dad is my dads boss! So you can just leave now!" Savannah said to Evie.

Evie pounced on her. She grabbed her hair and pulled on it while she punched her in the face and stomach!

We all we confused whether we should stop her or help her, we hated Savannah but we loved Evie and wanted her to kick her ass but we didn't want her to get hurt.

Evie's POV.😭

I was punching the bitch I used to call my best friend when a pair of arms wrapped around my middle and dragged me off that bitch. It was Mac! I pushed away from him, grabbed my friends, my brother Colton and my bag. I bolted out of there and ran to the car. I took the keys from a stunned Kaleigh and we piled into the car. Even before everyone was buckled I sped off to my house and pulled into the driveway. It was well after midnight but my parents weren't home so that was good!

We piled out of the car and went inside. I collapsed onto the couch and just started crying! The girls sat down next to me and comforted me until I stopped crying and sat up.

"Hey when did you change out of your dress?" Kaleigh asked.

"A bunch of guys were spilling drinks all over so I changed so it wouldn't get dirty!" I replied.

Then I turned to Colton, "What the hell is wrong with you?" I half yelled at him.

"I don't know, I think she drugged me because I don't even remember going to the party! I'm sorry Evie, you know I wouldn't ever do that to you!" He said earnestly.

I stared at him for a while but then decided he was telling the truth and I hugged him.

"Go up to bed and sleep ok?" I said trying to sound nice but in charge as well.

He trudged upstairs and I talked to the girls all through the night. We eventually fell asleep around 5am but the next day was Sunday so we didn't have to bother with anything!
