Brielle POV

" I f*cked up! I f*ucked up!!" I whisper yell to Kendra as we slowly back our way away from the two creeps we saw at the end of the block, except apparently these two have super hearing or something and saw us, in the moment they were turning towards us I was already screaming to Kendra to run.

" RUN?! And leave you? No way, come with me." She screams as she tries to drag me down the side walk, "I'm just going to drag you down, give me your shoes, you run and I slow them down, if you don't get caught go to the police ok?" I state calmly as I stop her behind a dumpster, ha, if we die now we just made our disposal convenient.

She takes off her shoes and hands them to me right as the psychopaths walk down our alley. "Besides, I don't run as fast as you, I've got too much bouncing around on top, I might give myself a black eye" I joke with her, trying to make light of this strange situation. "Come out Come out wherever you are" we hear, and Jesus can I say that was one damn sexy voice, so I did the only thing I'm good at, messing up.

Before I even have a chance to filter what I said, it was already out of my mouth, "God? Is that you? I always knew you were a baritone" as I pop up from behind the dumpster I motion for Kendra to go while they are distracted looking for where my voice came from. First thing that came to mind when they finally turned around was ' Damn, maybe I didn't f*ck up.' The second was ' there were two, where is the other?' But that thought was answered when the other sex God walked around the corner with Kendra in his arms knocked out.

" You know, you should work on your whispering, you don't do it very well" One of the sex on legs said, he had an Italian accent that was rather obvious, and since I don't know his name we are just going to call him spaghetti. The other one, the one holding Kendra just looked at me with a stupid smirk on his face, like he knew I wasn't going leave without her.

" You know, if you wanted to chit chat, you could've just asked us to wait when you got under a street light, if I had seen your face earlier I would have stopped." I added with a wink, my default panic mode sends me straight from sheer terror to unabashed flirting, which usually confuses attackers. It didn't let me down this time as The Other one laughs at Spaghettis alarmed face, "Are you- Are you flirting? In a situation like this? What the hell is wrong with you?" He says as he approached me.

And that's the last thing I remember, cause the next thing I know, I'm pinned to a wall and injected with something that knocked me out cold. So much for fighting.

Xavier POV
There wasn't supposed anyone on the street, but of course, Zander didn't do his research like I told him to and as it turns out, a new club had opened up right down the street, but we didn't know that until it was way too late.

" You owe us money Dmitri, and you have 10 seconds to tell us exactly where I can find the 30,000 you owe us, or I blow your brains out and leave you for the birds" I say to the cowering man in front of me. Another night doing what I love the most, being a Mafia boss, now I have people who could do this part for me, but what's the fun in that? There isn't any, that's why I like to get my hands dirty. This inner monologue has taken up the 10 seconds given so I shoot the dude in the head.

That's when I hear something out of the ordinary, it's a whisper, I turn in the direction of the sound and see two girls running/dragging each other in the opposite direction. I motion towards them to my brother and we walk to the alley they stopped in.

How I ended up with the one in baggy clothes beats me, I guess it's because I'm the one who knocked her out and dragged her to the car, but now with her laying awkwardly across my bed I'm really annoyed at the reason why she's here. But right as I'm about to go find my brother and yell at him, the little bitch wakes up. "What the f*ck" is the first thing out of her mouth, I'm so surprised by the curse word I chuckle, but quickly stop when she rolls off the end of the bed.

She hits the floor with a thump and a giggle.... Wait, a giggle? She still hasn't seen me yet and continues to laugh as she pulls herself up off the floor. I clear my throat once she is completely upright. "What the actual frick frack diddly dack am I doing here" she says to me, I don't like the way she said that, sassy and completely disrespectful. "Who are you? Where is Kendra? Where am I? Do you have a voice or are you just going to stand there like an idiot Mr.Spaghetti?"

She shoots question after question at me in that same disrespectful tone and I'm tired of it, "would you shut the f*ck up, you're giving me a headache with all that stupid yapping, now be a good little bitch and sit down so I can explain and get it through your thick skull what is about to happen to you." I say harshly, apparently though, it wasn't the right thing to say to scare her.

She scoffs and looks at me like I've grown two heads, placing her hands on her hips she gives me a glare that had I been a different man I would have pissed my pants, in a southern accent I had not noticed before, she says to me " Excuse me? Could you repeat that? Because I'm pretty sure I heard something completely and utterly out of line. You have kidnapped me and my friend, I am hungry, stressed and I have work in thirty minutes and I can't leave my crew short staffed, and you have the nerve, the audacity to call me a bitch? Well let me tell you Mario, unless we are about to race on rainbow road I don't want to hear it, now, I ask you again, where are we? Who are you? What have you done with my friend? And why you thought you had the right to speak to me that way?"

I can't believe I was saying this, but in that moment, I knew, I had seriously underestimated the girl in the baggy clothes. And I knew, when it came to this girl, I would be in serious trouble.
