Grant's POV
"Skye, is there anything wrong with you?"
"Yes Lucy, there are many things wrong with me. Some of them, well many of them, are to do with you and your friends."
"Oh really?"
"Yes, do you even realize that or are you to much of a imbecile?"
"Huh? I don't understand a word of that. What does it mean?"
"I'm not telling you, you should know."
"Skye Rose, we need to go now." Lucy looked up.
"Oh hey Grant, I didn't see you there." Of course she had, she had been looking at me for nearly 7 minutes. She had also been blushing and laughing at everything I said.
"Oh really?"
"Yes, do I get a pet name."
"Yes, Bay Tree or Bay Leaf." Skye Rose grimaced.
"Awwww." She pressed her body up against mine. It felt really wrong.
"Please get away from me."
"No." Her hand started tracing my lips. I felt a tug on my sleeve and looked at Skye Rose. She kept glancing at the sports hall. I knew it was time to go. Skye Rose, please help me.
"Grant, Thomas is here to pick us up." Her voice was ice cold.
"You can come home with me if you want Grant."
"No thank you." Skye Rose stalked off in the direction of the field. I started to run after her. She picked up the pace. I was barely able to keep up with her.
"Skye Rose!" She lent against a wall and sighed.
"Yes Grant?"
"Why did you start walking away from me?"
"Look, I don't want you falling under her spell and into her trap. So many of my friends have done it before." She said more but I was just looking at her lips as she was biting them.
"Grant?! Are you even listening?!" I expect I just looked surprised. She stalked off into the sports hall though the holey stairs. I didn't even see where she went. I know that I've missed the bus now.
"Skye Rose?" I saw someone go out to where the loos were.
"Skye Rose?!"
"Don't you know that's she's left you behind."
"She would never do that Lucy."
"Really? She left one of her friends behind once because the friend wouldn't pay her."
"She isn't that petty."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, yes I am. I don't care what you say, I trust and believe her." Do I really? She has kinda left me behind.
"You shouldn't." I stalked off to where Thomas said that he would pick us up. They were both there.
"Did you two have a fight?"
"Yes." was Skye's reply, short and curt.
"Wanna talk about it?"
"No." She turned away from me and distanced herself from me.
"Look, Skye, I shouldn't have let it go on for that long and I should have listened.
"No, it's my fault for being so boring." She said this without looking at me.
"No, it really isn't." I touched then clasped her hand.
"Really?"
"Do you not trust me?"
Lucy Bay is really mean then. Not a nice person now, she was gonna be an anti-hero but this happened.
