Reminiscence

Hey there,
You may remember me,
You may not.
Whichever the case,
Please know that I have not forgot.

I have not forgotten our conversations,
Our games,
Our inside jokes,
Nor our peculiar relationship.

You stood up for me,
And then you made fun of me.
You blushed when I caught you glancing at me,
And then you said you hated me.

I'll never forget the times we had,
The memories we share.
I know I'll treasure them,
They'll stay in a special place,
A place I dare not go back,
For if I do,
I know my heart will ache.

Maybe one day,
Perhaps when we are older,
We will somehow find one another.
And then,
Only then,
Will I open my box of memories,
The memories buried deep inside of me.

So bye for now,
I hope you remember me,
Because I'll never forget you,
Not will I forget our memories.

For all I have left now,
Is reminiscence.

So how was that? I know there may be some grammatical errors and the poem isn't in a specific form. But I just wrote it in my notes on a whim and decided to post it here. Hope you liked it :)😊
