the spirit and the geek

I'm kaithlyn oliver,17,rich,simple and my place in the highschool kingdom is a geek, I have a crazy highschool life and I have no boyfriend since birth.... but something about me is more crazier than being a geek.... I could see ghosts,spirits and other creatures which cannot be seen by normal eyes and I think it started when I was seven years old

"FLASHBACK"

I was sitting in our couch in the living room and we just moved in to our new house and I was talking to a girl beside me 

"Do you live here too?" 

"Yes and I guard this house" 

"Lily do you wanna play with my toys upstairs?" 

"Sure"

Then my mom called me

"Honey, who are you talking to?" 

"Just my friend lily mom" 

"Your friend?"

And my mom went to me and she looked around

"Honey is lily your imaginary friend?" 

"No mom she's right here beside me"

And my mom look scared then she took the phone and called my dad and I heard that she told dad for us to move to another house and as a child I was confuse about what was happening but I didn't mind it but we immediately moved the next day.

"PRESENT TIME"

I'm walking in the hallway of the highschool "kingdom" and everyone seems lonely specially the girls and I don't know why, the mood of the school was dramatic I could even see some girls crying everytime I look around but I didn't mind them and I continued walking towards my locker to get my books then someone called me...

"Kaithlyn!"

And I turned around and saw my bestfriend Alexis

"Don't tell me you don't know the news!"

(Okay Alexis is a bit famous cause she is the chief editor of the school paper and for short,she knows every news and gossips in the school, she's my childhood friend and we know each other so much.)

"Okay so what is the other way to I say I don't know the news uhmm... I don't know"

And I smiled and alexis replied a fake smile and she spoke 

"You know vincent forbes right? Yeah of course you do cause he's like the most famous guy in the school okay back to the topic he's in coma right now and that's why the school is like this"

I wasn't paying attention to her all the time she was talking cause I was looking at vincent forbes trying to talk to everyone but no one was minding him and it made me confuse why a popular guy like him was ignored by everyone and I kept staring at him untill alexis caught my attention.

"Kaithlyn are you listening?" 

"Uhh what" 

"I was talking the whole time? Vincent forbes?" 

"What about him?" 

"He's in coma dummy" 

"Huh?!, he's just right there" 

(Alexis knows I could see ghosts and stuff but she's a scaredy cat so we don't talk about it) 

"Hey not funny, your making fun of a poor cute guy" 

(Okay vincent forbes is really cute he's tall,hazel brown eyes,dark brown hair, tan skin,pink lips and he looks like an angel) 

"No I'm not" 

"Okay now you're scaring me"

"Riiiing!" The stupid bell rang for the first period

"Bye" 

"Bye"

And we ran to our classrooms and I was busy listening to the teacher when I noticed vincent forbes came in the room trying to talk to his friends and he noticed me looking at him and he walked to my direction and I looked back to the teacher and pretended I didn't saw him and he walked beside me and said

"Hey you can see me!" 

And I didn't mind him and he spoke again 

"Hey! Look at me!" 

And I shouted at him 

"What do you want?!"

Then the class stared at me and the teacher yelled 

"Miss oliver you can explain yourself in the principal's office" 

And I walked out of the room and he followed me and we were the only persons in the hall or I was.. Then I spoke

"Happy now?" 

"Look I'm sorry,but How can you see me? Why can't they?" 

"You will just laugh so never mind" 

"I won't I promise" 

"I have a third eye" 

"Wow that's cool! So that's the reason why" 

"Yep and you know what you owe me big time with this cause this is my first time to go to that office" 

"I'm sorry... But you know what you could skip"  

"Are you crazy?" 

"I guess so" and he smiled and said 

"Uhh what's your name?" 

"Kaithlyn oliver" 

"Kaithlyn can I ask you something?" 

"No" 

"Please" 

"What is it and I'll think about it" 

"Can you help me complete 3 tasks?" 

"Why would I help you" 

"Cause if you won't you will be the reason why I will die" 

"Why?" 

"Cause there's this guy who said if I won't complete the 3 task he had given me I will die and those tasks cannot be done easily by myself cause I'm a spirit remember and I only got 150 days to do it and it starts today" 

"What are those tasks?" 

"First he said I should apologise to the teacher I have hurt So much,second I need to apologize to my parents and they should feel it and they would forgive me same with the teacher I must also apologize too and last I must care for a person" 

"Okay so good luck with that" 

"Please help me and if you do I will help you in any way I could plus you could help your  

soul too cause he said the person that will help me will be blessed"

I thought about it for a moment and said to myself "hey you just need to help him its easy and besides you could help youself too" and I came to the descicion of helping him.
