I felt Aphmau lay limp in my arms. Tears streamed down my face uncontrollably. Cadenza tried to comfort me, but just ended up crying herself. Suddenly Katelyn and Kawaii~Chan came rushing back. "We called for help and Garroth was taking to prison!" Katelyn. I never noticed that Garroth was gone, nor did I care. He took the one I loved most away from me. "Thanks for the help, but it's no use anymore." I said sadly. "What do you mean Laurence~Kun?" Kawaii~Chan asked me. I turned around with Aphmau in my bloody arms. They covered their mouths in horror and sadness. "NO! THIS IS A JOKE! PLEASE...." Katelyn screamed as a tear escaped her light blue orbs.

I felt like giving up. I wanted to be with Aphmau. In life and out. A few minutes of sorrow the nurses came rushing in. "Excuse me sir, but could you let us take the girl?!" They asked worried and in a hurry. "Yeah, sure." I said and walked over sadly. I put her gently and kissed her forehead. 'My last kiss...' I thought as tears streamed down my face once more. "Laurence, I know that you're really on edge about everything, but I hate to say that you...you need to move on." Cadenza said placing her hand in my shoulder once again.
"My love just died and then you're telling me to move on?! I thought you would give time to cope with it...but no. I just have to move in, don't I?" I said annoyed. "Laurence I'm sorry! I should've waited but I don't want to see you like this." She said walking in front of me.

"Look Cadenza, I appreciate the comfort, but I just need to deal with this on my own. "How should I tell her parents?" I whispered to myself. I went into my dorm and sat on my bed. I looked at Aphmau's bed across the room. I let out a deep and depressing sigh. 'Without Aphmau everything looks dark and gloomy.' I thought to myself.

|Aphmau's POV|

I went unconscious...forever. Then I found myself in a white everlasting land. "Where am I?" I asked myself. "Aphmau." A voice said echoing. "Huh? Where am I? In my in heaven? You know, I was stabbed." I said confused. I had so many questions that I wanted to answers to. "Aphmau, you are indeed in heaven, but you will return to the Earth once again." The voice said sweetly. "Who are you?" I said. I wanted answers so badly. Call me Yin, or in other words...Lady Irene." And she emerged out of nowhere.

"Y-You look j-just like m-me!" I said in shock. I took a big gulp and said " Because I am you in a different lifetime. Since I've lived for so ling I decided to keep mu memories in this very amulet." And she took out a perfectly shaped carved red and yellow amulet. I looked at it in awe. When I give to you this amulet you will have all your memories again. But you will fall in love with a different person. And Laurence, he will be returning the calling very...complicated." She said and floated over to me. "I don't want to fall in live with anyone else. And Shadow Knights are evil and magical people. They are myths." I said trying to convince myself. "Aphmau, if you choose to keep your memories locked away you will be reborn a shadow knight. You will be 24 years old. And you are 16 right now. But time goes faster in heaven." She explained. I nodded in my head thinking deeply about everything.

"And over time, the longer you stay in heaven, the more you're memories of your past life will soon fade." She said sadly. "Laurence..." I whispered. "Yes." And nodded my head in agreement. "You will be in heaven for 2 months. After words you will be reborn a Shadow Knight." She said forming a white portal with an unknown block (not quartz) and said" Come Aphmau. But remember this,

Lady Irene is who I am, and I will follow prayers just like the lamb. I will forgive and forget, but in the center everything is but a wreck.

"Wow..." I said astonishment. "Never forget it Aphmau. It will remind you who you are deep down. You will have powers when you get reborn. But fate will decide if you use you powers for Shadow Knights, or for us." And with that she forced me through the portal. I felt her watch me as I walked through. "Good luck, my child." And everything went blank.
