I peered through the tree trunks, getting a look at the sky. We were nearly back to the cabins, and the sun was coming up fast. It was already light out, and I could see the bright yellow circle further out in the mountains.
"We have to hurry up," I tell Ash, catching up to him.
"We're almost there, I can see the cabins from up here. We just have to go down this hill and we'll be there." Ash responds, looking through a gap in the trees. Suddenly, he stops in his tracks. "Wait," he mutters.
I back up to him, looking through the trees. From there, I could see a fast bright color moving through other trees that lead to the cabins.
"A car..." I mumble. "Oh God, it must be my brother. He must have decided to come down sooner. We have to get down there quick!" I tell him, taking off and running down the hill. I hear his loud foot steps from behind me.
The steep hill was tipping me downwards, and mixed with running I was close to falling over about five times. But no matter how fast I ran, I couldn't beat the speed of the car.
I got to the bottom of the hill, slowing down to catch my breath and hearing Ash from behind me. I set my hands on my knees, steadying myself and breathing raggedly. He imitates me, but both of us perk up when we hear a car door being slammed.
"Oh shit!" I quietly cursed. I ran up to my cabin, hiding behind the wall, peering over to see if it really was my brother. I was right, and he was unloading bags and bags from the trunk, while Brenna stood there watching him with a smug smile on her face.
"You're so strong," she flirted with him, and then began to yawn.
"Go get some sleep, babe. My dad should be waking up to help out." Hayden responds to her.
"Okay," she sashays away and into the cabin, and not too shortly after my dad exits as well.
"What do we do?" I whisper to Ash while turning my head to him, and finding that our faces are very close to each other's. He flinches, and jerks away.
"We don't know if they'll stay up, so let's go into my cabin just in case." Ash looked out at my brother and my dad again.
"But how will we not be noticed?" I ask, looking out again and seeing them converse.
"We wait 'til their backs are turned, and then we run. Ready? Go!"
He races off, clapsing his hand around mine and pulling me.
"Wo-oh!" I grunt loudly. I wasn't expecting that to happen, and I was pretty sure we were caught.
I got lucky though, because they didn't seem to notice and Ash and I had made it to the back of his cabin.
"Come on in, but be quiet. We'll head upstairs to my room and crash in there."
The mere thought of sleeping in the same bed as Ashton Fields without having sex boggled my mind. Was that even possible for him, to only sleep in a bed with a female by his side?
Regardless my thoughts, we made it to his room and the light streamed through the window. I felt my eyes shutting, and my body going limp, and before I could fall down I jumped into the bed and passed out.

I heard muffled voices, and my vision was blurred. But from what I felt, I was very cozy and warm.
After I blinked a few times, I was able to see better. The first thing I noticed was how close my face was to another's. The second thing I noticed was that the face belonged to Ashton.
"Oh my God," I lurch away from his face, realizing I had my hands draped around his upper body and his arms securely wrapped around my waist. I pushed him away from me slightly, and that got him to wake up. His cloudy eyes met mine and widened, and he jumped away from me.
