Sorry the update took so long! I've been so busy. I basically have dance practice everyday of the week, so it's really hard to make time for writing on top of school. But I will be uploading the next chapter soon!

CHAPTER 2
The weekend passed rather boringly. Ethan spent the majority of his time making up new sentences for students to sign or watching old reruns of some comedy duo.
Not that he would ever admit it, but he was itching to see Noah again. He definitely wouldn't mind seeing him in his class.
It was a little bizarre, he had to admit, pining over a guy he hardly knew. Sure, he'd caught a glance of the boy picking up Oliver from the lessons occasionally, but they'd never exchanged words till now. And even then, there weren't many said.
Because Ethan refused to admit his anticipation to see Noah, he also refused to consider his mood as excited when he woke up that Monday morning, humming as he prepared for his day. Even though he could never hear the notes he put together, sometimes he liked to pretend he still could, translating in brain what the tune sounded like based on the vibrations. It was kind of a thing he only did when he was alone.
Ethan managed to the small institute for the deaf just before eight thirty. Most of the school was specialty equipped for helping younger deaf ones through school, but there were a few other classes, like the ones Ethan taught, that were more for those of all ages that had recently lost their ability to hear, helping them to adapt their lives to the change. And he loved being able to do just that. He would occasionally have someone like Noah ask to sit in on a class for a relative who'd lost their hearing. Most of the time, they stayed for a week of classes, maximum.
Ethan really hoped that wouldn't be the situation with Noah. He really hoped.
Preparing for the beginning of class, he set up his usual greeting and beginning task on the projected screen, pulled out a few packets and separated them on the edge of his desk, based on difficulty level. Checking his watch, it was right at eight forty-five, meaning a few students would start piling in soon enough.
A pair of arms encircled his waist, causing Ethan to yelp and flail around a little. He turned himself around in the others arm, being met with the same face as he expected.
Casper taught an English class to the younger students that came to the institute for school. His parents were both deaf and he learned how to sign from the pair, putting his talents and love of literature to good use. He'd been after Ethan since the two shared a rather drunken kiss at the staff Christmas party the year before. Ethan tried his best to remove the memory from his brain, but Casper was persistent on not allowing that to happen. It wasn't that Casper wasn't attractive, and the fact that he was constantly courting Ethan was a bit of an ego boost, it was more the fact that the blonde wasn't really Ethan's type.
"Can I help you?" Ethan asked skeptically.
"I was wondering if you had any push pins I could borrow, Mr. Declan," Casper stated with a sultry tone, his hands slipping into the back pockets of the smaller boy's jeans.
"I can assure you they aren't in there," Ethan retorts with a bit of venom, pushing against the taller boy's chest as he turns back to his desk. He eased a drawer open, fisting a handful of push pins before holding them out for the other man to take.
The blonde looked a little disappointed, with the glint of determination still strong in his eyes, as per the usual. He accepted the tacks, his hand catching Ethan's wrist, before he placed a few kisses with much finesse across both Ethan's palm and the back of his hand. Although the gesture was sweet, the smaller boy released a defeated sigh as Casper requested once again, Go to dinner with me.
