An Unredtale Animation in Progress

Unredtale.

It may appear as if I have misspelled Undertale, but I have not.

This is Red from Undertale Red.

Unredtale may sound like yet another Undertale AU (Alternate Universe) but in reality it isn't.

Undertale Red is a completely free, fanmade game by Taxiderby. It follows the gameplay exactly like the original game, though the only thing you do here is fight a monster by the name of Red.

Red. A character so great that it leaves you wondering why Toby Fox didn't think of such an amazing character.

Besides all the other amazing characters he's developed, of course.

Red. A monster terrified of making and losing a human friend, who forces herself to hate any human she may encounter. A member of the Royal Guard who was assigned in a place specifically so that she wouldn't encounter a human.

She refuses to like you. She doesn't want to be your friend.

Why?

Because if she's your friend, and you get killed by Asgore, how could she live on?

She "doesn't want to lose anyone else".

I didn't like her at first, to be honest.

But in the end, I ended up liking her.

She's not flawless as I had originally thought, and that makes her a perfect character.

I am working on an animation of that encounter with Red. Above is a part that is still in progress.

I'm thinking about maybe a nine-minute animation and I have maybe thirty seconds done so far.

It's exhausting, and extremely frustrating. Since I am doing this animation completely on my phone and my stylus pen.

I dream of a day when I can actually have a tablet, just for animating, and I can draw all to my heart's content.

I wished upon a star once.

But when you wish upon a star, I have to remember that what I see in the sky today is an image of what was there a million years ago.

That star is dead.

Like my dreams.

Science hurts sometimes.
