Aphmau's Pov
" And they all lived happily ever after." Mum finished my favourite bedtime story. It was about her and daddy and how they fell in love.
" Mum will I ever find my prince?"
"Sweetie, one day but now it's late so go to bed please." she said patting my head.
"Okay goodnight mummy." I muttered sleepily burying my head in my pillows.
She blew me a kiss and left my room. As soon as she left I was left all alone in the darkness of my room. While I was laying there I started thinking about how beautiful there story was. I only want something like that to happen to me. Right now I'm a child but I know one day I will have a prince charming. He will come riding on his trusty steed and sweep me off my feet. Well that's how I imagine it now.
There was a bright light coming from my window . Pulling off my covers I made my way to the window and pulled back the puffy purple curtains. I peered over my window .
I opened up the window and saw the most beautiful thing ever. A shining star brighter then every shooting star you hear in stories. It was moving a bit so it had to be a shooting star. and you know what you say about shooting stars you wish on them so that's exactly what I did . I wished for a prince and have a happy ending like mummy and daddy.
making sure the star heard my wish I stumbled back to bed and fell asleep.

That was the last time I ever saw that star.
Ever since I was 6 years old I would always have a dream about meeting my prince and we would run away and go live in his castle together. We would be the happiest in the world for ever and ever.
My parents inspired me to search for that person . And I will never stop looking.
That will have to end though when my 18th birthday is near. The stupid tradition is that every first born royal must marry and rule the kingdom right after . My farther didn't like this rule ether but he kept it only changing some parts to make it more fair.
The old rule was every first born SON had to marry a princess at the age of 18.
The new rule is that every first born in royalty had to marry at the age of 18.
They still have there annual birthday ball just this time they are looking for someone to marry. SO STRESSFULL!! I still have not found anyone, 18 years and still haven't found the right person.
And when you're stuck in a castle and protected 24/7 It doesn't give you much time to find love.
My parents knew they were for each other because they felt a spark. My father knew he had to make her his even if he had to talk to his dad the' big bad king'.
Anyways today is the day I pick out my part dress. Yey! (note the sarcasm)
Me and my best friend Cadenza went to the shop to find a perfect dress. When we found some that were decent we went to the changing rooms to try them on.
The first dress was really long and a really bright red almost pink. It definitely wasn't my style I like darker colours. Cadenza gave me a look say she didn't like it as well.
We went through 20 dresses already and I was getting tired of trying them on.
"This is the last one I hope it's okay." The clerk said vey nervously.
I grabbed hold of the dress and walked into the dressing room for the last time already.
The dress was long and black it had no straps on and started off being skin tight to flowing to the floor. It had a silver belt covered in diamond jewels.
"This is the one Cadenza, fits me like charm!" I squealed
" Let me see!" she called back.
I opened the wooden doors and stepped out to see mirrors around me. Cadenza was sat on one of the chairs as soon as she saw me her mouth dropped.
"That dress is perfect for you. You look like a true queen!"
That comment gave me so much confidence maybe I could do this. I wont screw up and make a fool of myself.
"Thanks Cadenza. I will take this dress for sure." I told the clerk.
"Sure thing let me get it ready for you to take." I went into the changing rooms and took it off. I threw it over the door to her as soon as I was back into my normal skirt and t-shirt. Me and Cadenza walked out to get something to eat.
