Chapter 12

Ed and I walked into the store together. He said he was in charge of bringing his own snacks to the concert, so he had to pick some up.

"They seriously don't provide you with snacks?" I asked him.

"No, they do, I just don't take it. I guess it kind of a way of thanking them for inviting me backstage."

.... I wanna be backstage.

"Ah, here we go, cookies!" He exclaimed.

"Nice choice."

"Thanks. They're my absolute favourite food."

We continued shopping for a little while before I excused myself to use the washroom. I was gonna pee right in my pants. I beelined to the bathroom and just about made it into a stall when I bumped into someone.

"Woah!" A deep voice said. "Uhm, this is the men's."

Not looking at him, I replied, "Oh sorry, I was in a rush and didn't see the sign." I quickly walked out and into the ladies portion of bathrooms.

After I finished, I wandered back to the food aisles to find Ed. I found him in the cookie aisle, again, with more cookies. This time he was talking to a tall guy with curly brown hair.

"Hey! Bathroom girl!" Curly shouted at me.

Oh. My. God.

"I have a name."

"Sorry, you must be Ally? Ed told me he's here with you."

"Oh um yeah."

"So you're pretty cute," he said blushing, "you wanna maybe come to my concert tonight?"

Oh. So THIS was one of Ed's friends.

"I would, but I'm kind of staying at a friends..."

"Oh you can bring her too! You guys could just hang out backstage with Ed!"

"Oh, sure. I'll let her know."

Curly left, leaving Ed and I alone again. We went to the check out and Ed bought his cookies. We climbed back into the limo and started driving towards Meg's house. When we were close, Ed and I exchanges numbers and he told me he would be over at 7 to pick Meg and I up.

As I walked up to the door, I began to feel a bit anxious. What if Meg didn't like me anymore?

"ALLY!" A voice broke my train of thought. I looked up.

"MEG!" We hugged each other and she helped me with my bags into the house. I told her all about my encounter with Ed an just started jumping up and down, screaming about how much she loves him.

We took a long time getting ready for the concert. We needed to look "HAWT" as Meg said. We still didn't know who the concert was, but whatever.

*buzz*

"Oh, Ed's on his way."

Meg started freaking out again. For like ten minutes.

*ding dong*

"HOLY SHIT!" Meg screamed.

"Meg. Chill," I said walking over to the door, opening it to see Ed standing there.

"Well hello again, beautiful," he said flashing that smile at me again.
