Chapter 1-A new year and a new Teacher

Hi here is the first chapter, i hope you enjoy it

First day back

We had just had six weeks off and now I am back at school for another year at sixth form. Hi my name is Marianne Oliver, I am 18 years of age and I am as some people would say an EMO. I love the colour black and any other dark colours. My favourite bands are Avenged Sevenfold, Green day, AC/DC, Black Veil brides, Slipknot and Eighteen Visions.

As I walk into the building I see my friends Rae-Anne, Kiera, Becky and Rachel. “morning” “morning” they all said in unison. I smile at them and they all just look at me. “What, aren’t you glad to be back” I asked giggling. They all just glared at me which made me laugh. “Fuck no because all of the New Year 7s, they are just soooo annoying” Kiera said “ok calm down Kiera” I was still laughing, “where are you first” Rae-Anne asked me. “I’m in music first where you are” “I am in Technology food with Becky and Rachel” “ok cool see you later” “bye” they all said. “Bye”. After I said bye I walked down the music corridor and into my classroom. That hour went quickly, I said bye to my music teacher and left the classroom and walked into my maths class. We were doing algebra. “Well this won’t be that bad” I thought. Finally when that class finished I had a 20 minutes.

I walked to the courtyard where everyone was. “Hey Marianne” “hey” “have you heard about the new teacher” Becky said “No why” “apparently he is an English teacher” Becky said. “and he is apparently really hot” “ok Becky, calm down” I said laughing. “Becky who is our English teacher this year” I asked her. She just smiled. “our English teacher is the new English teacher” “ok, well what lesson do we have next” “we all have English for 2 hours” Great I thought well let’s see if what Becky says about the new teacher is true.

We made our way into the classroom. The head of the English was stood at the front waiting for all of the students to be seated. When all of the students were in the room he started to speak. “Good morning, I hope you have all had the starting of a good day” he said smiling. Most of the students in the room just smiled back and some just looked at him like ‘do you think we have had a good day when there are all of the new rude year 7 students running around’ look.  “anyway I wanted to introduce you to your new English teacher Mr Downey” Then he motions for him to come into the classroom. Virtually all of the girls in the group started to drool the guys looked annoyed that the girls were drooling over there’re teacher and not them. “Now I expect you all to treat to Mr Downey with respect, now say hello to Mr Downey” “good morning Mr Downey” we all said. “Good morning” he said. “OMG” Becky whispers “He is so good looking” she added. I guess he heard her because he looked at her and smiled, Then he looked at me and winked. I just smiled back. Then finally the head of English left the room. “so good morning, my name is Robert Downey Jr but during class please call me Mr Downey or sir” everyone just nodded in agreement. “now let’s play a game” he said while clapping his hands together. “What’s the game called Mr Downey” one student asked “it is called getting to know one another” he said. Most of the class just groaned and some just fake smiled at him where as Becky was just staring at him. I nudged her and told her to pay attention or she will embarrass herself. “right then, let’s start off with you” Mr Downey said and pointed to Rachel. “all you have to do is stand up, say your name, age, what music you like and other hobbies” he said. “ok my name is Rachel, I am 18  years old, I like one direction and Demi lavarto and one of my hobbies is writing stories about people” Rachel said then she sat down. He went through the whole class then there was only me left and most of the girls said that they liked one direction and other stuff like that. it was Kiera's turn and she said " my name is Kiera, i am 18 years old and i liste to Avenged Sevenfold and Area 11" he smiled at her, then he pointed to me and told me to stand up so I did and said “Hi my name is Marianne Oliver, I am 18 years old, I like Avenged Sevenfold and AC/DC and other bands like that” he cut me off by saying “finally someone who likes good music not that one direction rubbish” as he said that he walked over to where I was standing and said “this deserves a high five”. I then high fived him. OMG his hands are so soft then he told me to carry on with what I was saying. “one of my hobbies is playing music on my guitar” I as I was sitting down he asked me “you play an electric guitar or an acoustic guitar” “Both” I said then he said “maybe one day you can play for us” “maybe one day” I said smiling. Then that class ended and I went home because I had no more classes till tomorrow.
