Letting go of the male, Lucy looks at him with a sad smile. She hopes that maybe she has helped the male in some way, that's all she wants to do. She may be just a random stranger to him, but she wants to be a random stranger who has helped out. Moving his hands, he places them around Lucy's, returning the smile she was giving him with a genuine thankful smile while looking at her. The look on his face and the fact their hands are together changing Lucy's smile from a sad one to a happier one.

"I'm Nate, if you wanted to know...." He mumbles.
"Lucy..."
"I'm sorry... For uh, crying on you..."
"You don't need to apologise, seriously, don't worry about it. Brenda, she's my friend so..."
"You know Brenda?"
"Yeah, I uh— I was in the car with her. She was driving and I was in the passenger seat..."
"You were in the car accident? I didn't know, I— are you okay?"
"I'm alive, that's what matters... Just a little bruised, but I'm good.."
"I'm glad you're okay..."
"Yeah, thanks... Do you wanna go back to Brenda's room? We can go see her together if you want? Try and get her to remember you? I don't know, do something?"
"Yeah, uh— okay..."
Lucy stands up first, only briefly letting go of Nate's hand before she helps him up too. They walk into Brenda's room, walking hand in hand to be greeted by an empty room.
"Where'd Brenda go? I didn't even see her leave..." Lucy asks, frowning lightly because of the confusion she was currently feeling.
"I honestly don't know, she must have slipped past without me realising..." Nate replies before yawning to himself, the events of the day and the little sleep he was getting finally taking toll.
"You should go home, get some rest. I'll let Brenda know where you've gone, I'm sure she'll—"
"No, I uh— I need to stay here for Brenda, she's my best friend, I can't leave her.."
"I'm sure she'll understand."
"No, I can't leave. I'm not even tired, I'll just stay here until she gets back."
"Okay... If you say so... Do you want me to stay here with you? Or do would you rather be here alone?"
"Stay... Please... Only if you don't mind that is, you don't have to."
"Yeah of course I'll stay." Lucy replies before taking a seat next to Brenda's bed, Nate quickly sitting down next to her, his hand still in hers. After a couple of moments sitting in silence, Nate adjusts how he's sat so that his head is resting on her shoulder. After closing his eyes, it doesn't take him long to fall asleep on her shoulder.

After spending some time with the brunette male, Megs decided it was time to go visit her friends, it's not like the male had any objection to her leaving, for all she knew, he didn't even know she was there. Walking around the hospital, she finally gets the nerve to ask a doctor where her friends are, firstly by looking for Brenda. However, when she got there she was met by a familiar face who wasn't Brenda.
"Lucy?"
"Megs! You're here, you're here. Why are you here? Shouldn't you be at work?"
"Not until later, I had to come see you guys, make sure you were okay, who's he?" She asks before gesturing the male who was currently passed on Lucy's shoulder.
"Nate, he's a friend of Brenda's I think? That's what he told me anyway..."
"Brenda... Speaking of, where is she?"
"Honestly, I don't know... But there's something I need to tell you about her. I personally haven't seen or spoken to her, I was going to, but I couldn't just leave Nate alone in the hall crying, but uh— I don't really know how to tell you this but... She's got amnesia. She doesn't recognise Nate, she may not even recognise us..."
"She's got what..."
"Amnesia."
"No I heard what you said, I just, I can't believe this..."
"I know, it's crazy... And all my fault, I shouldn't have stirred shit, this shouldn't have happened."
"This isn't... This isn't your fault, she needed to be told."
"I just, I feel like I'm to blame."
"You're not, this wasn't you. This was an accident."
"You weren't there Megs, this is my fault!" Lucy snaps, regretting getting so angry, the second she spoke.

An awkward silence spreads across the room for a couple of moments until Austin and a blonde haired male walk into the room.
"Brenda?" Austin asks, looking at Megs who was closer to the door rather than Lucy or Nate.
"Nope, I'm Megs. Brenda's out, not that I can tell you where she's gone though."
"We came here about half an hour ago and she was gone, she has yet to come back... Who are you exactly..?" Lucy asks, frowning lightly at what appeared to be another male that knew Brenda that she did not recognise in the slightest. However, Lucy speaking had bought Austin's attention to her and therefore Nate who was still passed out on her shoulder.
"Nate?"
"Nate? Your name's Nate? But I thought his name was Nate?" Lucy asks, gesturing to the male beside her.
"Oh sorry what, yeah his name is Nate. It's just, I didn't know he was here..." Austin frowns, "I'm Austin, and this is Drew..."
"Okay, and why exactly are you here? Looking for Brenda?"
"Well, I.. I met Megan earlier and she wanted to know how her friends were, so I asked for your names and here I am. Is Brenda okay? I assume you've seen her at some point.. What about Rosie?"
"Brenda's got... Amnesia. As for Rosie, I haven't seen her but I know where her room is if you want to go?" Megs asks, realistically, she wants to go see all her friends and make sure they are all okay, with Austin telling her how Megan was and Brenda nowhere to be seen, Rosie was next on the mental list.
"Would that be cool with you?" Austin asks, a smile appearing on his lips. Honestly, he had clue where anyone was in the hospital and appreciated the help, the sooner he found everyone and made sure they were okay, the sooner he could go back to Megan and talk to her again.
"Yeah sure, follow me..." Megs stats before leaving the room.
"Wait before you go, can do me a favour... Drew?" Lucy asks when he starts to move.
"Yeah sure, what's up?"
"Once you've gone to see Rosie or whatever and you're about to leave, can you come back here? I'm assuming you're friends with Nate and I was hoping you could drive him home? I don't really think he's in the best state of mind to drive home... He was a mess earlier, and I don't want him getting hurt or doing something reckless..."
"Yeah sure." Drew replies with a smile before leaving the room, he stops and comes back. "Lucy, why do you care? I mean you don't know him..."
"But he knows Brenda, and he looked pretty distraught when she didn't recognise him so I'm assuming they're close. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to him. Plus, I just, I don't know, I just want him be okay. With all that's going on, someone needs to be okay."
"Okay." Drew replies, flashing one last smile before leaving the room again to go find Rosie.

--

Walking into Rosie's room they were greeted by a girl who was trying really hard to get herself into bed but not having much luck. Her arm muscles were fine, but every time she'd get close to getting herself into bed, she'd catch her leg awkwardly on the wheelchair and hurt herself, it wasn't going well. The whole process would repeat over and over.

Without a thought about it, Drew rushes to the girls side, helping in any way he physically could to support her and help her to get into her hospital bed. When she was comfortably sat in bed, she mumbles a 'thanks' to Drew, flashing him a grateful smile in the process.
"No bother." He replies before returning the smile on her face. "I'm Drew."
"Rosie..."
"I know... Austin, you don't know who that is, was asked to come check up on you by request of... Megan? I think it's Megan. She's bed bound and can't see if you're okay but really wants to know, so Austin, like the hero he is, offered to help. In other news, I believe we also bought a friend of yours... Megs."

In that moment, Megs pops her head head round the corner of the room, closely followed by Austin.
"Hey stranger."
"Megs you're here! You're here!"
"I couldn't imagine of being anywhere else."
"Megs, I'm sorry, for everything. I shouldn't have started shit..."
"Rosie, stop, this isn't your fault. It's no ones fault." Megs replies as convincingly as she can, people blaming themselves seemed to be a common theme today and she honestly didn't believe anyone was to blame. She walks from the doorway to sit on Rosie's bed, walking past Drew in the process. Careful that she doesn't sit on Rosie's bad leg, she sits on the corner, more off the bed than on. Trying to change the subject, Megs speaks again. "How's your leg? How's your everything?"
"I'm good, just a little achey. Plus a broken leg, fractured collarbones and a broken rib. But besides that, I'm just peachy..."
"I'm glad you're okay." Both Megs and Drew reply at the same time, Drew feeling more awkward about the fact it slipped out than he probably should have been. Rosie changes her gaze from Megs to Drew and Austin, forgetting about the fact they were both there.

Everything suddenly getting extremely awkward, tension building up in the room so fast that you could practically feel it. Until Austin once again saves the day by offering to leave.
"I'm going to go, uhm, Drew you coming?"
"Uh— yeah, I just, yeah. Bye Rosie, it was nice to meet you. You too Megs." He replies with a tight smile before leaving the room.
"Bye..." Rosie replies, watching them both leave.

Austin walks back into Brenda's room with Drew who is all ready Nate home, however, they are greeted by Brenda who is passed out on her bed, her body tucked into itself to protect her from the cold. Then next to her bed was Nate asleep with his head resting on Lucy's shoulder, and Lucy asleep next to him with her arm wrapped around him. They have Brenda's duvet cover placed over them most likely thanks to Brenda before she went to sleep.

Leaving the room again without Nate, Drew gives Austin a hug and wishes him goodbye before going to leave the hospital. By the doors, Drew is greeted by Megs who is on the phone to her mum, talking about how she needs picking up so someone could drive her to work, but her mum couldn't do it. In the hopes of helping out, Drew kindly offers Megs a ride to work. Dropping her off before he goes home too.
