Because of mom I tried to spend more time at home and this thing made me realize many things about my family.
I was in a kitchen helping aunt in making mom's fav dish ,after coming from work when Naill entered He was talking on phone and without even taking a glance at us he simply walked upstairs in his room .. I was watching his every single step
"Aunt where he was?" I asked her who was busy with the dish
"Who?" she turned his face towards me realizing what I am asking about as I was watching the stairs he was climbing
"Oh Naill .." I nodded "I don't know sweetheart , God knows well he is in another world now a days" she was looking disappointed by him
I turned my face toward her " Mom dont ask anything to him?"
"Ur mother has lost her control on him... he is getting so rude day by day he is not paying attention to his studies even he was not there when Ur mom fell I called him for help" she was explaining me like I am a new member of this house
"I see" replied her still wondering about him
After 15 mins when we both done with a dish "I am coming" I informed her and walked toward his room upstairs
I knocked the door first and then enter , the room was all messed up there was clothes ,dishes and soft drink bottles everywhere I think I was watching his room after a month or may be more and during that time he had changed alot . He get shocked to see me there "what r u doing here?" Asked in a rude way
"What have u done with Ur room Naill?" I was looking at his messy room still confused
"It's none of Ur business emy" I looked at him on his misbehave "I am Ur sister.. and I have a full right to know every single shit about you" I lost my patience
"Sister ... really?" He raised a question on my statement "so finally u realized Ur responsibilities after many months or may be years" he taunt on me
I remained silence .. I know he was right I hadn't paid attention toward my family since many months , I had been so rude since the last few months
After some seconds his phone started to ring "emy please go from here I don't want to argue with you ... please" he added ,his eyes were still on phone screen He surely dont want to talk in front of me
"but I want an argue , I want a talk with you" I wont give up early , I have to solve this out so I did
We stared each other for about one minute and may be he recognized this on my face .. he silent his phone "okay then talk" and sat on a bed
I followed him "What r u doing now a days Naill?" I asked him straight
"I am doing nothing emy" he replied in a cold voice "Yeah I can see that" I rolled my eyes
He said nothing .. "listen Naill I know I have did alot of wrong things , I had some responsibilities as an elder sister but I..." I sigh "leave it .. we can't change the past but we can change our present , i realized my mistake and I swear I am trying to correct my mistakes but u have to help me out regarding this" I accepted my mistake
"What do u want from me" his voice was low and eyes was on me , Its seem like he felt pity for me
"U r repeating the same things I did.." "I..." he tried to argue with me but I stopped him with my hand "let me finish" he got silent
I continue "U are not paying attention to Ur studies even not showing any attention toward mom's health , all the time u r busy with Ur phone I know u got a girlfriend but it's not like to focus only on one thing and forget the world" he was listening me patiently with his eyes on floor "Naill I am going out of country for about 15 days and after me u have to take care of mom and this house , try to be mature boy" I smirked on last sentence
"I am already mature enough girl" he responded with a smile
I wiggled his hairs "I know and I trust u" he grinned
Then I stood up and started to walk towards the door but a thought turned me again
"and one more thing" I added He looked at me with a concern "I like Faye..don't worry and i am sure mom will also like her" he smiled from ear to ear
"But first focus on Ur studies and get a good job" I instructed him He nodded "good and I hope u will never hurt her like other types of guy" I said him because of my past experience
"I will never" he assure me
"I was expecting this" and started to walk outside
"Emy" he called me from behind
"yeah" I turned and it was an unexpected hug from him"thank u for everything" I responded him back "u are a love bro" and the tear shined in my eyes ...
What if I am a star , I also have a heart and a lovely family to share my emotions .....
