A large pair of metal boots slammed into the floor. As the person they belonged to got up we could see his full body. It was a tall armored knight, standing at about eight meters.
Both his hands were occupied by a giant sword, and the blade shone in the pale light of candles.
The giant started moving. He spun his blade around him in an attempt to vanquish the people in his vicinity.
Maya almost got sliced in two, but was saved by her assistant right before the blade arrived at the place she'd been standing just a moment ago. Jim helped her up, and then drew his rapier.
He nodded at his mistress. She quickly nodded back before he ran off, and she began chanting spells.
On the other side of the room Mohan had dodged another one of the giant's attacks. Barely missing his body, the big sword simply slammed into the ground. Dust and debris flew up from the floor.
Mohan exhaled, then sprinted towards the big foe, while Romi kept looking for a weak spot in the layer of protection of the giant. Romi had already laid an iron-tipped arrow on her bow, ready to fire.
Right before this enemy could execute one of his attacks, he yelled out in pain. Mohan, who was standing inbetween this giant's legs was furiously stabbing at the unprotected ankles.

The big enemy couldn't grab him before he got out of his reach, and Mohan quickly retreated away from the monster.
Filled with anger, this armored knight quickly sliced diagnally down, starting at his left shoulder and ending at the ground. Its intention to decapitate Jim with this move almost succeeded, but the slim figure once again evaded the sword in the nick of time.
Not wasting any time, Jim took a step back before charging at the monster who was trying to excavate his sword from the floor tiles it had gotten stuck in. Jim ran straight at it, and straight up jumped onto the iron blade with a determined look on his face. The knight saw his enemy just too late, and as he dropped his weapon he realized he didn't do it in time. Jim jumped and struck this giant in the torso, his thin blade piercing trough the chestpiece as blood spewed from the wound. The assistant didn't expect the enemy to be so tough, and let out a surprised gasp as his foe had enough energy left in him to grab the swordsman.
And right before being squashed inbetween the fingers of this monstrosity, a dark orange sphere hurled towards the face of the big one.
It exploded in a collection of red flames, unnaturally powerful and intense. Filled with agony and despair, this giant dropped his victim and tried to put out the flames that seemed to have connected with his face.

Without looking behind him, Jim knew it had been Maya who threw the fireball. She chuckled as he regroupped with her.
''I can't have you dying on me right now. You have a job to fulfill and doors to keep open for me, remember?''
Jim grinned, then silently nodded.
Romi inhaled, slowly moving her upper body along with the manic dance of the injured knight.
As her hand moved back, an arrow flew trough the air before hitting its mark. The tiny gap Jim made.
Before she could even confirm it had hit the target, she pulled a second arrow from her quiver and pulled back the string, only to let it go and fire again, this time at the thin unprotected space inbetween his helmet and chestplate.
The giant gave in to his wounds, and fell down to the ground. Trying to get up it sat on one knee, looking at the group of humans.
And right in front of him flickered the silver blade of Mohan, before it was plunged directly into the visor of the knight.
