Chapter 4

four

Thalia's POV 

knock knock.

i opened my eyes and flung my legs over the edge of the bed, i used my feet to feel around for my slippers, expecting them to be at the edge of my bed, as usual.

oh. that's right, I'm on the helicarrier.with no extra clothes. i am definitely going to need some really soon. i should probably talk to tony about that..

i walked to the door and opened it, yawning in the persons face. unfortunately, it wasn't tony. it was Bruce.

"oh. hey, what's up?"

"well, uh, tony wanted me to come and tell you that we can take you on a tour of the helicarrier now. you know, only if you want to. i just woke you up, you probably want to go back to sleep.."

"no way, i'd love to come! just give me a sec to get dressed. oh! and can you remind me to tell tony that i need new clothes.. thanks"  i smiled. i walked over to my bed and grabbed my clothes off of the end. i got dressed and walked out of the room, closing the door behind me.

"so, where's tony?" i said looking around, he is probably having a drink..

"he is in the cafeteria, i think. probably have a couple drinks." he laughed. i laughed too, well they don't say 'great minds think alike' for nothing. 

"yeah, you're probably right. well, lead the way Dr banner. i'm pretty clueless when it comes to direction" he laughed and made a cute half smile. my heart just melted. i know i don't know him very well, but i think i might have a small crush on him..

well the feelings mutual. i can tell.  a voice said

i turned around, looking for the person who's voice it belonged to. but no one is there.. i swear i heard a voice.

"are you alright Thalia?" Bruce asked me, worried

"yeah, I'm fine Dr banner, just thought i heard something"

"please, call me Bruce" he smiled at me again. Bruce. stop. it. i'm going to explode from how cute you are

his 'other side' is quite handsome too. you would like him. 

okay. who are you? it's really starting to creep me out. and what do you mean by the other side? like second personality or something?

my name is blade. and yes. his 'other personality'. 

i followed Bruce down the corridor, we arrived in the cafeteria, and spotted tony.good. he's here. because i have a few questions that need answering.

Bruce's POV

our meeting finished and tony and i started walking to Thalia's room to give her a tour of the the ship. 

"tony, are you sure it's okay if i come. she did ask you to come. not me" i said looking at tony. he nodded his head. "it's fine, she wont mind" he said before turning down the wrong corridor.

"where are you going?" i asked him annoyed 

"you can go get Thalia, i need to do something" he said before running off. great. she doesn't wan't me here and he is making me go wake her up. i continued down the hall to Thalia/tony's room and knocked quietly. i heard some rustling before the door swung open and Thalia yawned

"oh. hey, what's up?" she said, she looked really tired..

"well, uh, tony wanted me to come and tell you that we can take you on a tour of the helicarrier now. you know, only if you want to. i just woke you up, you probably want to go back to sleep.." i said nervously. i didn't want to be the one to wake Thalia up. tony should be the one doing it..

"no way, i'd love to come! just give me a second to get dressed. oh! and can you remind me to tell tony that i need new clothes.. thanks" she smiled at me and i think my heart stopped beating for a second. she closed the door to get change. she came out minutes later

"so, where's tony?" she said looking around, he is probably having a drink.

"he is in the cafeteria, i think. probably have a couple drinks." i laughed. it's true. that man has always got a drink in his hand. always. 

she started laughing too, i smiled, if i didn't know any better, i think i might like Thalia. but i know she doesn't feel the same. i don't want to put her in danger of 'the other guy'. i wouldn't want to hurt her.

hulk no hurt Thalia. she likes you. i can tell. 

she doesn't like me, she wouldn't be able to with me when you're in the picture big guy. not if she knew what happens to me when i loose control..

she is just like us. more than you think.  what do you mean? 

her 'other side' is pretty, you will like her.  what do you mean her 'other side'??

great now he isn't going to reply.. i turned back to Thalia, she looked around, confused.

"are you alright Thalia?" i asked worried. 

"yeah, I'm fine Dr banner, just thought i heard something" she replied. although she didn't really look fine..

"please, call me Bruce" i smiled. she smiled at me then looked back and we kept walking

i lead her down the corridor, we arrived in the cafeteria, and we spotted tony. Thalia couldn't stop fidgeting with her top. i think she might have some important questions that need answering. and quick.
