-Where there's joy, sadness is somewhere lingering,
And where there is sadness you will find lonely souls seated in the darkness,
But where there's darkness there's light...
There she sat in the middle of the soothing hymns,
Everyone standing while she sat; not because she wanted to,
Her sliver streaks of mercury dangled just above her ears,
Her eyes closed for reverence and she slept peacefully;
Plastered with make-up her face glowed with the absence of youth,
Her frail skin folded in mounts of crimples expressing the tale of time,
And her fingers twitched with every sensitive dream impulses...
-But soon day will turn to night,
And the sun's glow shall rest, giving birth to the silvery moon,

I'm sure there was once a time she danced on her own two feet,
A long, long time ago when she didn't need a third leg,
A time when she could sing her hymns on Sundays,
A time when her cinnamon hair twirled with the wind,
When her youth was prominent, taking Broadway like a wild fire,
I'm sure there was once a time she dared her face to wrinkle,
But now time has demanded her youth,
And soon enough she will close her eyes forever,
Soon enough she will fathom the toll of time.
-I demanded for continuation, no breaks, no pauses,
I will only elucidate once and you will listen,
There is no going back, only forward; the young must become old.
