After leaving the Hokage's office I saw Naruto talking to a irritated Ino. Part of me no longer wanted to hang out. Maybe I just needed time to contemplate what just happened and what I need to do.
Ino stopped talking though when she finally noticed me coming. "Ohiyo Miyuki-Chan! I went to get you this morning but I guess I was beat to it. How'd you sleep?"
"Well, thank you. I think I'll adjust okay. Care to join us for Ramen?"
"Sure." Ino's eyes squinted as she smiled and tilt her head.
As we walked to 'Ichiraku's' Ino and Naruto joked about many things.
So far the people here seem warm. They don't treat me extra special. They don't seem.....afraid.. But would it be different if they knew?
I snapped out of that thought and refocused to the conversation in front of me.
Once we arrived at the shop I was introduced to the shop owner and his daughter before I was served a bowl.
