I was sitting on my desk in my room, studying, obviously, for a test we had the next day. It was Biology, and, lucky for me, I had learnt the entire book by heart, and hence only had to revise for 3 hours!! I mean, can you image how long it would take otherwise??
Anyway, I had just finished and was closing the book when I heard a soft flapping sound. I ignored it, thinking it could be my imagination. Then, I heard a soft peck on my window. I turned around and gasped.
There sat a large brown owl, which seemed to be carrying a letter. I immediately opened the window, admiring the owl, for I had never seen one out in the open before!!
I took the letter from his beak and opened it. I read it and then screamed..
No.. I thought, No, it can't be true... There's no such things as witches and wizards!!
But, for the first time ever, I was wrong.
