Chapter One

You know the feeling when you wish that something is just a dream, that you will wake up from but then you realize that its no dream.....its reality.

Reality could be so cruel, No one knows what someone is thinking, right? like, you might think you know the person, you know his intentions, his colors. He may show that he loves you, care for you, but in reality.... they don't, they never did. But then how could you know?

Who ever thought that my father, the one who stands for me even when i did something wrong, the one who enjoys my company when no one did, the one who i can relay on, could be that person. No body could be crueler than a father who leaves his family suddenly and without a reason.

—————-------------------------————

FOUR YEARS AGO

I stretched getting out of bed, my neck ashes from the wrong position I was sleeping in last night. I was so exhausted from all the fun we had last night, I smiled remembering yesterdays events my mother cooking those rusty chicken, my favorite. Then we all gathered on the couch, we watched all kinds of movies action, adventure, comedy, horror, and much more it was one of my best days in my life. You see my father is a very busy man, he always goes to business trips so I don't really see him a lot. While my mother is a nanny home.

"Ally honey, come downstairs or you would be late", my mother called. Oh no I couldn't be late. I ran to my wardrobe and pick up a navy blue shirt and some baggy pants, then I made my way downstairs to be met by my father siting in a chair reading a newspaper. I made a small noise to get his attention. " oh good morning dear, Are you ready for today", my father asked," No she is not", my mother interrupted," she should have breakfast".

While I was eating I started thinking about what would happen today, Every year my father and I would go to a festival I guess it's a way to get back those lost days, i was really exited.
Even though we are rich, we're not the type to own a limousine, but I guess it's tradition to go to the festival with it.
father said this year they are going to do more activities than they did the year before, which made me more exited to go.

I Know what you are thinking why didn't mother came along with us? Well she had some work to do, well that's what she said.

------------ After the festival----------

By the time we reached the door we were laughing our heads off, but as soon as we entered the house we heard small cries coming from somewhere inside, we followed the cries down the hall to kitchen, by the time we reached it the lights were off, so father went in and turned on the light and that's when we saw mothers crying figure on the floor. My father rushed to her and pulled her in a tight hug he asked her what happened, but she just hugged him tighter.

I was just standing there, didn't know what to do that's the first time I saw my mother like this in this state. My father loosen his grip a little from the hug and told me that he wanted to speak to mother privately so I just gave him a small nod in response, and ran upstairs to my room closing the door, I couldn't sleep, maybe its because mother was crying and it was the first time I saw her that way or the fact that the lights were off even though she was there.

Mother was the toughest one among us she was so strong that one time we got rob by a couple of strangers it was really scary, there were just me and my mother in the house my father was out to some business, so my mother toke me to her room and told me to hide under the bed I didn't want to leave her but she insisted, I don't know what happened or what mother did but when she came back she had a fake smile on her face, I didn't ask her what happened that day and we didn't tell father about it. But I had a feeling that what happened that day was not just a couple of strangers robing our house for money it was something else, something had to do with mothers crying in the kitchen.
