"I've never seen you around. It's not that I really pay attention either, but are you new here?" He asked me, with a slight blush in his dimpled cheeks. I gave a small laugh, "Yes, I am the one and only infamous new girl."

"Infamous?" Seth laughed.

"Very," I replied, with a fake serious tone in my voice.

"You know, I would show you around, maybe take you to your classes, but I'm not so sure now that I know you're such a bad kid," Seth said, a smile pulling at the end of his lips.

"Wouldn't be the first," I said and turned around, looking for locker 548. I smiled to myself, knowing that he would run after me.

"Hey wait a minute, I never said that I wouldn't," He said as I smiled and shook my head. "What's your locker number? I can help you find it if you'd like."

"548," I replied, not letting him know how thankful I was for his help.

"Oh that would be by the East Wing, I'll take you there. Let me see your schedule, do you take any AP classes?"

"I take all AP," I stated quite proudly. I know that it wasn't that much of an accomplishment just taking the classes, but it sure was to me. Seth let out a small chuckle, "So do I."

I handed him my schedule that I'd been given 2 days prior to the starting of school.

"Well at least you have one class with me," Seth pointed out. I smiled, excited that I didn't have to go to every class alone. "Which class?" I asked impatiently. "Lunch," he said, trying his best to conceal a laugh. I rolled my eyes, trying not to smile. I mean, I was kind of upset that I didn't have any classes with him, but at least I wouldn't be all alone when lunch rolled around.

Seth lead me down to the East Wing and showed me to my locker. I opened it and put my backpack on the ground, grabbing a binder filled with paper and a few pencils out. I then put my backpack into my locker and closed it, setting the lock. "Don't look at my combination!" I joked. Seth raised up his hands in surrender and slowly turned his back towards me. I put in "0819" and told Seth that he could turn back around.

"Happy early birthday," an unfamiliar voice said from beside me.

I quickly turned my head. He was leaned against the locker next to mine. I did a double-take. Had he been there this entire time? I could've sworn he hadn't been there when I first got there. He had gorgeous wavy brown hair that went just above his shoulders that matched his deep brown eyes. He wore a black v-neck shirt, jeans, and vans. I was completely confused with who he was and what he'd just said to me.

"What?" I asked, not knowing what else to say.

"Your combination, 0819? You might want to use something other than your birthday next time," The boy replied calmly, with a smirk planted across his face. He then winked and walked off, disappearing into a crowd of kids trying to find their rooms. I was throughly creeped out, but shook it off.

"Who was that?" I asked Seth, still looking at the crowd that the mysterious boy had disappeared into.

"That, my friend, is the very infamous-just like you-Elijah Polston. He's a "bad boy", typically speaking. As cliché as it might seem, every high school must have one, and Elijah is ours," Seth stated, as though he's said it over a million times. I laughed, this seemed way too cliché for my liking.
